I want to watch little poke'peeps die. It's a violent concept with no violence. It does not compute.

If you want violence in Pokemon, read the manga. I did some years back. Lots of violence and Pokemon actually DIE in combat sometimes. Here's a paragraph of the synopsis of what happens in one of the chapters of Pokemon Adventures.

Is this the Toshihiro Ono manga? That one was beast! I remember reading it when I was in elementary at my library. From the beginning I could tell that it was different from the regular run-of-the-mill pokemon mangas.
