i would like to see some kinda parquor ninja movement abilities for scouts
or maybe you could do it as a medium suit if your movement speed was high enough
such as
a wall jump ( jump near wall give you an action prompt (X)
a ledge grab / pull up
nothing too much just something that is a little more than the static fps jump and hop
maybe you could do it as a medium suit if your movement speed was high enough

Just for fun, I would like to dodge bullets like the matrix. Then have a camera shot of the facial expression of the person who was trying to kill me. Just once.
I'm already entertained by the way scouts kill me, but more elaborate moves would be cool. |

They are adding a lunge function to nova knives so I think there are a few feasible movement options that they can think of.
More options become available based on your speed/frame
A running slide by holding X would be interesting, also allow aiming while sliding, this should be the easiest of the bunch if they believe a lunge function for the nk is feasible. They could also make the slide go over low flat obstacles if you hold it before running into one.
Edit:
The other ones would be coding nightmares, even the scaling obstacle part that I mentioned would be painful to code I would imagine. |

i still think using a scout and attacking from behind with novaknives should be a OHK animation where you just stick a ******* vibrating dagger through their back and out their chest - just imagine it as every alien movie where the people were impailed by a ******* tail |

Gallente scout is nova knifing in the OB artillery map and just assassinated an unsuspecting assault.
The assault falls to the ground and a caldari scout is standing in 15 meters from the gallente's face. in a quick draw the caldari pulls out a his scrambler pistol and fires a clip at the gallente, but the gallente gets away with no shields. the gallente in a rush turns the corner and wall runs passed a red heavy and as he turns another corner he sees the caldari wall kick over the heavy and fire 2 shots at him. However the gallente is quick and escapes the shots.
Now in a full sprint on the path to C and the caldari right on his tail, the gallente leaps over the railing, lands on his knee and takes off. The caldari in a predator's frenzy dives over the rail and fires an entire clip at the gallente striking him twice, the second depleting his shields and denting his armour. the gallente eager to get away spots the bridge between A and the CRU. Still in a ful sprint the gallente wall runs and leaps then grabs the edge of the bridge and pulls himself up. Tired he looks back and sees the caldari in a faster sprint then he was room towards the stairs. The gallente knowing he can't outrun the caldari gets up and hides behind a divider and waits.
Nove Knives ready in hand he sees a blueberry run to take care of the caldari. He hears a couple foot steps and a AR go off briefly. Then foot steps rattle the bridge again but this time in afaster succession then the blue before. anxious the gallente charges his knives. staring at the ground searching for shadows while hearing every foot step roar the gallente swings for the caldari's throat. Predicting so the caldari slides across the gallente's feet and unloads his final two shots into the air missing.
The gallente continues to run and the caldari , standing and now wielding his knives, and continues the chase.

I like the concept of a 'far fetched butt' although (cough) the implementation might defy logic. Most butts are close by.
Although if one's breathing is restricted by a sphincter that is too tight it might be difficult to see the butt for the trees, as it were.
Parkour is cool.
Lots and lots of new animations would be required and nearly endless testing on large maps with a long list of sockets. QA would not love you. |
