just wanted to say that that although trees are still an important issue ( to say otherwise would be to go against the grain) there is another seriously annoying bee buzzing in my aggravated bonnet.....and that is the death of the merc pack.

I don't mind spending a little bit of cash each month to play a game i love to play and the merc pack served that purpose beautifully. I had a free active booster and enough aurum to purchase a passive one (both monthly) and the spare change to keep me in the odd piece of aurum equipment that i like to use.

Now there is nothing worth buying, dont want 7.99 kits for vehicles or aircraft and i certainly dont want to spend 40 quid to basically get the same boosters per month as i was getting with the merc pack and i dont need all the aurum that comes with that pack or the ones sitting at 80 odd quid!. the middle ground has gone, dont forget, that merc pack is a monthly purchase and is more than a monthly subscription to EVE! -ú40 is the price of a new game and if CCP thinks that is a fair price they are having a giraffe and they are more than welcome to pick a non-oral orifice of their own choice to safely place it out of the harmful rays of our local G-class star!
