I would like to see these variants to the existing equipment:
D3-3P Nanohive
This nanohive has been projected to have a great nanite cluster, nanites are compressed by a sophisticated algorithm, unfortunately the decompression algorithm is slow and the resupply rate is lowered.
Grade: prototype Max active: 2 Carried: 3 Nanite cluster: 120 Range:7 meters Ammo resupply rate: 15% Armor repair: 0 HP: 400 CPU/PG: 62/11 Isk: 17310
Reason: there is no point to use a proto nanohive (except the triage variants), they are only a waste of resources. _______________________________________________________________________________________________

The Show Some Love for Vehicles repair tool is the specifically instrument designed to repair vehicles in a proto way.

Remote Explosive
They need a rework, there should be at least 3 kind of explosives: anti infantry, anti vehicles, anti structures.
Anti infantry: they should be less powerful (from 1500 to 800 dmg) and have a wider range, they should always have manual activation (at least till scanner do not detect them).
Anti vehicle: they should be more powerful (from 1500 to 1800 dmg) and should overturn light vehicles, heavy vehicles should be slowered if they pass over them (plus the damage).
Anti structure: they should be insanely powerful against structures (from 1500 to 3000 dmg), but with a very little range. |

That nanohive is actually worse than the proto ones we have now...maybe even worse than the advanced with the slower resupply rate.
72 clusters is a lot. 15% ammo supply means that 15% of a player's ammo supply is given per amount of clusters that ammo costs. The current prototype ones give 30% ammo, which means you get twice the amount of ammo compared to the K-2 for every cluster.
This means that you don't use up as many clusters, effectively doubling the amount of ammo the nanohive can give out.
I do agree with your idea though...I'd like to see a prototype quantum nanohive (instead of 30% it would be something like 45-50%...so insanely fast ammo supply, but only 36 clusters).
As for the repair tool, I'd like to see a guaged one of those (i.e. 3 beams) that costs more isk. The core is pretty awesome though.
Nanite injectors and remote explosives also need to be expanded on more, even if it's just one variant that does something slightly different (I'd like to see an injector that brings back some shields...for instance)
Although the one that is missing from most equipment is the stable or compact variant. I absolutely love these as they cost less cpu/pg. A stable nanohive, injector, repair tool, RE, etc.
Core variants would be awesome too. Imagine a core nanohive that would be similar to the quantum I suggested...giving 100% ammo supply, 72 clusters, but it's super tiny and you only get 2 of them (1 active at a time) |

A regenerating Nanite Injector
Once you inject the nanites they not only restart normal functions but turn the players normal armour into reactive armour until the equivalent of the rest of their armour regenerates.
A standard would make their armour repair at 1 HP/s, Advanced 2HP/s and proto 3.5HP/s.

Self repairing repair tool
This repair tool would be ineffective at repairing other people, but can soak up armour repairing nanites (standard) from other beings (so if a player is using self repairing armour, the user can hijack their armour repairing ability if the player's armour is already full). The Advanced and proto variants have nanite programming abilities and can break down amour into nanites and program those blank nanites into reactive nanites to repair their own armour. The Proto variant doing it faster and more efficiently. |

I read that thinking that you were talking about grenades lol. Anyways, having all of these as RE's makes no sense. you could just as easily use the AS RE's for AV, and do better, especially against's HAV's and MAV's. Therefore, I think should should change them to work like this:
AI RE's: Just like the ones we use now, but a further throwing distance
AV RE's: AV mines! Yup, just buff the proxies we have now (forgot about those, didn't you?) to do that.
AS RE's: Name them timed charges. What they do is have like a timer in which can at any time be hacked to stop the explosive from going off and be diffused (when diffused, someone has 15 seconds to blow it up manually by gunfire/explosives, otherwise it disappears). At any time during the timer can the charges be shot at. It has a low sound to it, that can be heard up to 25 meters, and shows up on the tacnet anywhere within 10 meters of it. |
