You guys should set up a limit on starting a game that's already in session, like no new players if one side has less than 50% of their shield left.
I remember once I got put into games when one side had the computer come and say, NCC is at critical level. So I spawn and the game ends, why?
Or less than 50 clones left on one team.
I don't know what the numbers should be, but its frustrating to get into the last 2 minutes of a game.

This happend only twice (i don't as much as some of you do) but i got in skirmish with Blue Team only having 4 bars left in armor. I am serious!
And a couple of times with armor less then half or half.
Refuse the leave after 1 min. from first drop. (Maybe not such a good idea for some people, but then just don't start a match if you can't play anymore.) |

I understand the frustrations being shared here, I share them as well, but I think you also have to take into account people leaving matches for whatever reason (DQ'd, not wanting accept loss, etc.). So when you come into a match that's halfway through, it's because someone left, thereby leaving that team short on player count. Locking the matches, as seems to be the request, would be problematic as it would ensure that any team that had players leaving the match would lose. Ya, it sucks to come into the last few minutes (or less, sometimes) of any match, but it only sucks for you. Locking the matches would suck for everyone, as the losing team would be forced to carry on without a full (and most likely, ever shrinking) team; while the winning team would suddenly be deprived of any resistance and/or challenge, effectively just making them run around an empty map until the end of the match.
Even if you put a system in place that would end the match if the player count dropped below a certain number (or even waited until 0 players on one team), would be bad as matches would end prematurely, and little, to no, rewards would be given out; making the matches not worth playing at all.
Not allowing people to leave a match could be easily negated by the AFK timer, and you'd be back to the same issue. |

Make it to where clones must be greater than 120, and MCC shield health must be no lower than 25%
(Feel free to tweak these numbers) |

To clarify my suggestion, there are two buckets - armor and shield. Shield goes first and armor goes second. I suggest that no spawning of new players into a match happen after MCC shield is 0 and armor is 50% or less. Or maybe both squads have less than 40 or 50 clones left.
I don't mind getting put into a game mid way, even hopeless ones, as long as I'm having fun.
I don't like spawning and running to the battle and not getting a shot off while the match ends.

Let's see. When was the first time I can recall reading a post about this?
I suspect the first week that Closed Beta had servers up for a week (they used to only be on at certain times).
And we have many, many requests, feedback requests, rants, begging, pleading, demanding and almost any other verb one can throw at it while not getting banned.
We were promised a Battle Field Filter that we thought would enable some of these requests. We were wrong.
CCP is not going to do this. I have no idea why they won't, but unless you look good in Blue ... I wouldn't suggest you hold your breath. |

The fix is to implement an Open World where the "matches" don't end and the side with the better supply lines is the victorious one. Trade needs to be in place for this to work though so I expect it will be coming soon (6mo-3years) and I don't know if there will ever be open battles although the Leave Battle option in your neocom seems to be an indication that there is something in the works. |

This has happened to me many times since I run solo often, doesn't happen with a squad for obvious reasons. Just this week I entered a battle with 1 measly bar on the MCC, and another where there were NO bars, I barely exited in time, it didn't even give me the spawn site circle. Please fix. |
