The rewards for the Event! That's what's drawn so many people to the Amarr side... We all know Carthums are EXPENSIVE and so winning these 50 free ones from the event is like winning the lottery! Dont forget about the 100 imperial flux uplinks those are just as good! 
Don't get me wrong I'm happy we've reclaimed Imperial space back, and for all of the help from everyone, but we have broken FW... We hold so many districts that Scotty always pops up! |

I second General John - while the rewards are nice, I will still fight for Amarr regardless.
I'm still dying for someone to make me an Amarr pendant or for CCP to sell them.... |

Not really, support for the Amarr has been growing week by week lately, this even just galvanised the support shaving two or more weeks off of the build up. |

Hypocrisy is the real reason why amarr are winning, big corps and alliances have started to play FW, no matter what race, their players have choosen, the orders from the high has dropped down and all the good dogs have to obey.
I've seen post of people i've never ever seen in FW, they have no interest in roleplay, the just want to protostomp and have easy win. |

I'm with John Ripper. I fight for my state. I honestly didn't even look at the Caldari rewards until just recently. To me, the Caldari are the least respected and yet it's people persevere through it all. Even when our homeland was lost. So for the glory of my state, I will grab my rifle and war with those who oppose our kind. Dominance and respect are two rewards that do more for me than any gifted weapon or dropsuit. |

I agree, the Caldari are the least respected out of the bunch. It's probably because they have been forced into remaining part of the Gallente Federation, but don't get the "slavery" tag. So people tend to think of the Caldari as a bunch of anti-freedom lovers, since clearly anyone who goes up against the freedom-fighting Gallente (or deny nations to freedom to leave the Federation) are a bunch of bad guys.
The State has my full support. Perhaps now that the Amarr Empire has gained 100% of all districts I shall help out the Caldari State, who are getting close to achieving the same thing. |

This event is driven by two things, the rewards and the policy of some big corps.
I find it hard to motivate myself to go into factional warfare, since it's become a very unbalanced event.
Unbalanced battles are simply bad, I don't like to proto stomp, since it's not fun if the enemy has no chance.
It's also not fun if you loose all the time. So whatever, I guess I'll log in every day to get the reward for logging in, but I do not see myself having fun anytime soon in this game.
Sorry CCP, immersive gaming is found somewhere else as the numbers show very clearly!

CCP calls us mercenaries, but we're not "supposed" to be anything. This is a supposed to be a sandbox, play however you want. Personally, my character was never a mercenary. Always a loyalist from the first shot fired to the last. |

I concur, this is just part of the sandbox nature of New Eden. If you are looking for a corporation to join, you should consider their allegiances if you care about that. Of course the higher ups will have the ultimate say, and if you don't like that then try to become a higher up, start your own corp, form a movement!
Over the course of the past couple months I've seen an extra strong push into rallying troops for Amarr, not much on the case of the Minmatar. Major stuff doesn't just randomly happen, you have to make it happen. That is New Eden! |

I wouldn't mind getting the Caldari Kaalakiota reward, seeing as to how it's something I actually use currently. That said, I'll just stick with the Gal/Min side and hope that the other side brings some lube. |

I was only making an observation, for I have been playing countless Amarr FW prior to the event for a couple of weeks and won so many battles, but it didn't make much of a difference... And behold the event comes and we have literally flipped every district in 2 days time! |
