So everyone saying, "Hey man, we redlined the Amarr hard!" Do know that every time you redline the enemy, you are going against the randoms. That matches you should be priding your victories in are the close fought ones that your team would of lost had your squad not been there. How many of those have you come out on the winning side of?
Apparently not many, because looking at the percentages,
Devoid 98% - 24th Imperial Crusade 2% - Tribal Liberation Force
The Bleak Lands 95% - 24th Imperial Crusade 5% - Tribal Liberation Force
Heimatar 82% - 24th Imperial Crusade 18% - Tribal Liberation Force
Metropolis 87% - 24th Imperial Crusade 13% - Tribal Liberation Force
So yeah. And I would initially get suspicious that there is something up with FW that is broken again, but on the Gallente/Caldari side the Caldari are only holding a modest lead.
Himiko Kuronaga wrote:Remember when Foxfour said the hole seems too deep to be dug out of for Amarr/Caldari?
Like I had said before, it was not.
All we needed was motivation, not hand-holding mechanics that made everybody equal by default. Well, then again the event started on the day of the update to 1.5. It could of very well been that FoxFour fixed it. I have a hard time believing that Amarr were struggling to hold just 1% for a full month, then just because of the event they flipped everything over.
Long Evity wrote:BrownEye1129 wrote:Hmmm interestinng bc I played 8-10 matches this morning after down time and won. Or should I say redlined and cloned. Not sure where you pulled your data to make such a statement. You are incorrect might want to run through your numbers again before you decide to open your mouth and spew BS. So.. Minmatar can only win when most of Amarr is asleep? Lol Well actually this could be the case. Yesterday I saw Amarr holding 38% in Bleak Lands, then went to bed and found out we went all the way down to 9% in Bleak Lands. Of course now we got it all the way up to 95%, should be interesting to see where it is in the morning. |

I'm glad our posting, PIE GD, and the involvement of certain groups within EoN, as well as the long serving efforts of the Amarrian loyalists on this forum have been able to turn things around. |

Personally I've lost every single FW warfare match I've played in the last 48 hours. It's been insanely stacked teams vs my 1 organized squad w the rest have been NPC players going 0/15, 0/19, 0/25. I personally will not be receiving any awards from this event. |

Pretty much this. There just isn't a large enough pool of organized players fighting for Minmatar right now. |

How about the fact that ever since release there has been a strong push by many players to create a strong gathering towards Amarr? You're right, not many organized players fighting for Minmatar. So why not do something to change that? |

This. The PIE GD channel is what got me connected with you guys, and I'm glad for it. Also, was having another great run until my PS3 froze a few minutes ago. Now just need to get back in game. |

My second comment was asking for some evidence that most of the Ammar are asleep after down time. I just don't understand how these people are making such difinative statements without any evidence. Is this what the mass of our society has come to? Randomly coming to conclusions and drawing theories? I gave you a possible reason why you're numbers were different from the Ops and how many battles I won myself for the Amarr faction. Also I'm sure the Op meant that they were losing every battle he was in and not the Minmatar losing every battle as a whole. |

And speaking of which, I've seen a ton of players fighting for the Minmatar using scrambler rifles and even prototype Amarr logistics, another one of the Amarr rewards. Makes no sense to me why they are fighting Minmatar, but they are.
I would rather like to contribute the Amarr FW success to a bunch of guys around the forums and in the game who have been relentless advocating for Amarr for months now. We have amassed quite the army and even a bunch of EVE orbital supporters. |

HTFU. This is how it works in EVE, this is how it works in Dust, only reason MInnies were winning this past month is due to the increase in FW Minmatar ship prices at sale.
FYI, besides those corps who constantly FW like PIE Inc, EM, etc.

I'm not sure about that. I see plenty of freedom mass drivers still around, not a terrible prize to be had. Anyway, sure, having EoN helps but to be honest I played most of my matches without a lot of EoN around and still won them all. PIE has lot to do with it. don't like it? Make your own channel and muster your allies!
(p.s., I also have no proto suits, so dont bother claiming protostomping, I'm still in the top 5 on the leaderboard most matches) |

I seem to recall that you were complaining about broken mechanics. I think this adequately proves that a turnaround is entirely possible. |

I give in.
I'm done trying to fight for the Minmatar as by now, the amount of battles I would need to win in order to get at least 45% of them would be over 100 if I kept going at this average.
Might as well fight for the amarr for the Carthums... :/ I was excited to see proto min logi, repair tools, and mass drivers as minmatar rewards but sadly I will never get them.
However I did win one match using a suit that costs 17k...topping the board with 25/6. Minmatar mass drivers FTW.
I have not been so lucky since. |
