So I go check out what's going on only to die to 3 F**KING TANKS! Holy t*ts! Not one, but three! And to make things even worse, ground soldiers started coming in.

F**k this! It's Nerf or nothing!

I just camped at Objective C and dealt with soldiers that came into range without help from the tanks.

We finally got to score a win for Gallente FW veggie a got to score a free hacked tank, though.

You want to nerf tanks because you couldn't pull out Av... which is kinda pathetic considering how easy it is to kill a tank.

if i was there i would have soloed them with my awesome forge.

A solo tank is easy to kill. And only when circumstances work to your favour.
3 tanks are not at all. You might want to advocate against a nerf, but don't pretend AV is easy mode vs tank spam.

Huh, I expected to read how all three tanks got slaughtered by 1 proto AV dude. Cause that never happens, right? (this post contains sarcasm)

I have A/v on my main and tanks on my alt so i feel like i have good insight..

sometimes a tank kills me. and then i come back with a forge gun and kill him..he usually sees it coming and recalls

All in all im not putting anymore SP into either untill 1.6, And im gonna save all my SP till then and dump it into the winner..


I have met tanks that dont care about the forge and are really tuff....but they do know better than to come out into the action once your around , ultimately its a mexican standoff..always.

I kow ths trio of tanks u speak of and have been stomped by them before...i almost came to the forums to complain but instead i threw 1.5 million worth of Proto A/V suits at em and still couldnt do a dent....i dont care im rich and ill do it all over again, i learned and the next time ill do better untill they stop calling them in...because the ROI isnt worth it..all u gotta do is pop 2 of those tanks and they are loosing money by fielding them..but they are rich to..sooo...keep trying but i feel your pain..

This week is faction war week, it's going to be brutal to anyone who dares to get into a FW, officer items are up on the table, so people are going to be willing to offer up plenty of tanks as sacrifice to the loot gods. So yeah, rich players are going to be playing to win and to slaughter anyone that dares get in their way this week.

It is, I've been a tanker about a month now, before that I used to be hard into AV, from forges to Swarms, but mainly AV nades.

Taking out 3 tanks is not hard, hell I have been on the receiving end of subsequent tank losses in a match. 3 Tanks is not a tank spam, its 3 out of 16 players using HAV, spamming would be 8 or more, and you cannot complain about not being able to take out an HAV solo, or without co-ordination because I shouldn't be able to happen anyway.

There needs to be a limit of tanks in a match (heck, there needs to be a limit for all vehicles).

Ambush - 0 tanks, 1 LAV per side, and 1 dropship per side.
Skirmish - Depends on how many objectives there are, but 1-2 tanks per side, 2-4 LAV's per side, and 2-3 dropships per side.
Domination - 1 tank per side, 2 LAV's per side, and 1 dropship per side.

At the very least tanks need to be perma banned from all forms of ambush, dropships too.

ambush- 0 snipers, 1 heavy per side, 2 assaulters per side, 1 logi per squad, 3 scouts per side, am I forgetting anything?
Skirmish- 0 heavies, depends on the amount of objectives on the map but at most 5 snipers per side, 1 assault per squad, 3 logis per squad and 5 scouts per side.
Domination- 0 scouts per side, 1 heavy per side, 3 logis per side, 2 assault per side.
