would like to know how much the release of the ps4 will be effecting us.. sure I'm not the only one with interest in this matter.
also should my assumption that you guys might be introducing a monthly fee (date non/specific) be relatively accurate? please confirm or deny. |

mostly just concerned that if monthly fee is implemented, wont be worth it for many reasons in it's current state. only way i would consider long term investment in this game if you guys could implement an "open-galaxy" sand box style (planet-side) real time battle system.
no more public.. only federation/corperation conflicts where public would become drone missions.. that only seems to make sense to me. i hate to say it but as original as you guys are i think there's alot more that this game needs to be the ground breaking title i expect it to be.
also much needs to be done in respect to current dust vs eve corporation functions |

Considering the current trends of MMOs and the over saturation of FPS games on the market, I doubt Dust is planning on switching to a monthly fee.
As for the PS4 port, I don't think CCP is going to consider moving it over until Unreal 4 is available for licensing and they've had time to convert from U3 to U4. if CCP's own Carbon engine isn't that great at handling FPS games (as some people are saying), may as well stick with Unreal since they now have experience with it and if they do stick with Unreal, no point in porting Dust to PS4 with U3 if they are going to have to rework it to use U4 once it is available for licensing (since it should be better in every way). |

well i think its safe to say that its not too unreasonable to ask if they're going to implement a pay to play system (this is technically still in beta right?) and furthermore look at EVE online.. but its also safe to assume that they will only do this after the player-player market has been established and flux passes & AUR for ISK are available?
considering my lack of insight into CCPs business model i feel that this is an important topic. i'm more or less just asking when they're going to do the ps4 crossover and what they're waiting for (not to sound impatient.. but rather just genuinely curious) |

They are not going to expand on the ps4 yet and probably won't until in the distant future. Earlier in the year they talked about porting it using the gaiki streaming service , but the service won't be available at launch for the ps4 and Sony stated that they don't know when the European market will get it. Additional , the ps3 architecture is much different than the ps4 architecture I imagine it would be pretty time consuming to port over when they are still working on the problems with the game now . Don't get your hopes up and expect it to release on the ps4 anytime soon. |

we'll if that's the case, i'd just like to promote the fact that the playstation move/sharpshooter is so freaking awesome, will only improve functionalty with the ps4's new camera (although im not sure what if anything is stopping the new camera from being used on the current ps3)
i'm just a humble playstation fanboy and am eger to learn of their next steps that might have a big impact on me as a playstation owner.. |
