Being Amarr I have an eye for aesthetics, and something that is really starting to bug me are the washed out textures while in the warbarge.
Now while I'm in my MQ, my proto Amarr Assault and Proto Amarr Logi look amazing - deep black with ruby red eyes for the assault, and deep black, shimmering golden yellow, and ruby eyes for the Logi.
Once I hit the warbarge the deep blacks become a dusty looking charcoal grey, the yellow of the logi suit is dull, and the ruby eyes look magenta. Even the textures don't look fully rendered, everything has this "on the cusp" of pixelation feel to it.
Now don't even get me started on when I look out the window of the warbarge - it's just horrendous. The planet still looks as if it was done in MS Paint, space itself looks washed out and charcoal grey with some photoshopped in nebulae. Sometimes the planets have black clouds or the texture simply fails to load and we get what looks like a star.
This is by no means a pressing issue, but I would like to see DUST beautified a bit - aesthetics go a long way. |

Now once we are planet side, we all know about the rendering issues, but textures still look "on the cusp" of pixelation once again. Oddly enough though, while fighting planet side, dropsuits look amazing.

Give it about a year, I understand but its not even important at the most. |

Agreed. +1 as a long term goal. |

I'd rather they don't do any "cosmetic" updates. I had no problem with the way everything looked in Crome.
Then the uprising update came and broke most of the stuff that CCP already fixed. It's why we need these monthly updates. |

Dropsuits look the same in game as they do on the warbarge, we don't really notice it as much because you look at them from further away. I remember once when I was about to be DC and everyone froze but me, when I approached people from close up they looked just as terrible as they did on the warbarge.
Whilst in game its a non issue I agree looking at the crappy textures of everyones suit in comparison the the merc quarters is kinda lame but it isn't a pressing issue. |
