Is there a time table for CCP to finish and release the basic content that is missing from the game? This includes, but is not limited to;
All four racial variants of light, medium, and heavy dropsuit frames.
All four racial variants of light, medium, and heavy vehicles.
Medium vehicles.
All four racial variants of basic issue weaponry, including sidearms, light weapons, and heavy weapons with unique damage types dependent on race.
The sooner CCP gets this content into the game, the easier it will be to balance other aspects of the game. Also, when all the basic groundwork is in game, advanced roles building on that groundwork can be better implemented the first time.
Take the vehicle rebalance as an example. Currently the only vehicles that exist are Caldari and Gallente light and heavy vehicles, and drop ships. Medium vehicles don't exist and neither do any variant of Amarr or Minmatar vehicles. Imagine that this current vehicle rebalance is done within a month, and is perfect; literally everyone loves it. What will happen when medium vehicles and Amarr and Minimatar variants are added? They will likely break that balance, since the existing vehicles will be balanced without basic content in game. That balancing effort will then be wasted. |

I want to duct tape the good infantry weapons onto the LAV weapon mount. Cus less face it, the guy who designed the LAV mounted weapons has long since being executed for sticking childs toys on vehicles of war. |
