Went to test out the new Squad Finder feature and fears for it were realized. Groups looking for people with Mics only and groups looking for people with certain SP requirements(10+ million for the one I saw). The feature was supposed to bring people together and already people are excluding new players and people who either cannot afford a Mic or just don't want to use one.
I also don't like the fact that every time it refreshes itself it automatically scrolls all the way back to the top and highlights "create". It does this every few seconds which makes it super painful to try and scroll through the list. |

Unfortunately that is how New Eden is, many fleets require certain play styles. PvP fleets are almost always all armour fleets, and you can get in without the right fits. |

So create a squad for squad finder because there just might be others out there like you who are in the same predicament
Just a thought
In this game it really helps to have a mic, you can go without one but when it comes to up to the minute battleground updates, a mic is needed.
You can get a bluetooth for about 10 bucks if you look in the right places. That's what I paid for mines... |

For PC I can understand requirements such as Mics and minimum SP, but Pub matches and FW? Common that is just stretching it. |

No that isn't stretching it. You should respect that these guys like to play with mics. Like I said, create a squad without the requirement and state it as so.
Are you going to keep running into a brick wall or learn how to walk around it?
The choice is yours
And if squad finder doesn't work, you can always do it the old fashioned way

I dunno, you might as well join a squad in-game if you don't like requirements. Those squads are generally useless, but hey that's what you get with no prereqs  |

Just saw a group named, "Nig Warriors" also. Someone is a ******* ******. Sorry, but without some sort of filter or removal of restrictions upon people I call failure. Needs more work. |

How can they prove you have 10 million SP in the short time you walk in and start playing with them? |

Having a microphone does not mean you use it, and not having a microphone doesn't mean you can't hear what others are saying.

Having a lot of SP merely tells you how many battles a person has spammed out, not skill etc.

High KDR just means they don't die often. More often to point they either are in a PAMPER SQUAD to pad their stats vs randoms (aka they can't fight others who have equalized gear) or they just don't care to take objectives. People who die more for actual goals are far more reliable.

OP wants a squad that has no mics
Yet does not create a squad with no mics
Suggestions were given
Yet he does not want to entertain him
Instead of creating a feedback thread
He complains and whines about the execution of squad finder
Again, why doesn't he create a squad with "No Mics Needed" in the subject?

Don't feel like arguing with people. Suffice it to say I have stated my opinion on the matter. Some of you may like it currently and that is fine. Have a cookie I guess. I personally think it is lacking for previously stated reasons. Either way arguing on the internet is like winning the Special Olympics... yada yada yada whoop de do. |

if you didnt feel like arguing, it probably wasnt a good idea to make a thread at all.
There will always be squads like this, whether you like it or not, those are the restrictions the squad leader wants in his squad (apart from the sp thing really, he cant prove you dont have that so just ignore it)
If you don't like the way people are running squads then form one yourself, everybody wins this way.
