Lol, it does concern me BECAUSE I'M THE ONE FIGHTING THEM!
Honestly, it's not even about them not being able to field enough people on time because of two points that seem to have completely blown over your head:
A.) THEY set the reinforcement timer, not us. THEY chose when the fight was going to happen.
B.) This battle is going on to it's third day in row - with which we've won twice but didn't have enough clones to keep going.
I don't care who they bring to the fight, we're still going to the fight and we're intent on taking the district. It just seems silly to me that, knowing this, the corporation would spend all of their profits on hiring mercenaries. Being as the average for hiring a mercenary is right around 3,000,000 ISK per person (not including vehicles) they're spending THREE TIMES what they'd be making from that district every day.
So, the longer this gets drawn out the more money they're spending - far more than we are. Eventually they're going to either run out of expendable income or realize what's happening and just abandon the district. If they're smart, that is. I mean, they're about to waste another bushel of ISK in defending this district, which puts them at almost 100,000,000 in expenses by my uneducated estimate. Even if I'm wrong, they're still spending more than they'd gain in the same amount of time.
Considering this, I think these mercenaries should be asking for more money for an extended engagement... |

Saying nothing of this concerns me is like telling a soldier that none of what he says concerns him on how two warring governments operate.
That's ignorance. I'm not trying to interfere in other corps business - I'm simply stating a fact. They can do it all they want but not fighting for your own regime is silly. You're basically paying for protection so you can make money in an area known to have violence - how much money are you honestly making when you're having to pay, daily, for the protection?
It's also something to look down on, imo. Sure, there's no such thing as E-Bushido, but you're not gaining anyone's respect when you hire out and you surely aren't learning anything from it yourself. It's like Redlining in pub-matches. You might think you're tough and get a smile at how easily you defeated the other team but if you're winning that hardcore than you need to step up your game and fight some harder opponents.
To that end, don't go into PC if you aren't ready. EON was accepting of new corps wanting to get into PC but in killing off all the competition (for the sake of it) they gave these new corps no-one to challenge them. It's like the immune system, if you take a bunch of anti-biotics all your life your immune system never gets the practice it needs to combat the really dangerous **** that's out there. So when all of these guys set up shop and hire out, the only thing they're telling us is that they like money (but not enough to not spend it lmfao) but they don't like having to protect it.
