I'm too lazy and stupid to read the patch notes. . Can someone just give me a short list of the updates in 1.5, you know like only the big, significant stuff.

There's complaints about Scotty pairing out of country people with each other, which causes a lag.
There's the new squad finder that refreshes way too quickly to be as effective as it could be (though in itself it is a welcomed addition).
There's WP for transporting, destroying equipment, and scanning for your squad. |

Added notes: There's tutorials for new players.
None of this is nearly as important as...
* Drum roll. *
Being able to see our guys from the front when we open the neocom.

The patch notes are not that long in comparison. In fact, I'm surprised this wasn't considered a hot fix. |

I dunno, but I feel like I move way slower...even as an assault suit. It feel so slow trying to cover such large maps...if takes 40 seconds to move from one objective to the next so essentially it feel like you have to camp or run scouts to get anywhere.
Overreacting i'm sure, but this hurts. |

As we all know the big ticket items were pushed back, but the smaller things do make for some pretty nice changes (the squad finder should be amazing once it's all ironed out). |

Yea its the little stuff that counts and that to me shows in 1.5. It's not a monstrous update but the little things go a long way. The spreading out of WPs for different actions (which I was against, especially with scanners but I was uneducated in the manner. Its a nice touch and I haven't even used it) is good to incite battleground effectiveness.
The squad finder is just so dope. Cool seeing what people were looking for and the squad stipulations. A great tool for recruitment purposes, which I hope to use to further my Caldari corporation for FW purposes.
The tutorial for the newbies. Now while I haven't checked it out, I'm glad that something is available for the new mercenary. Cause I remember the original way ("Would you like to know more?") was underwhelming to me.
And Michael Arck is looking good when I check out my Neocom
These little touches goes a long way-the building blocks.
It's just nice to look back and see how far the game has come. I was watching a Youtube video of the old startup and I completely forgot about the segmented double circles that would gyrate in the corner when loading...
I like where this is going...and here's to the future. CCP devs...I got a case of Blue Moon with your name on it... |

It was a pleasant surprise to get 5 WP when I snipe drop uplinks and nanohives. I used to do it for free but the small reward is nice.
