Hopefully the player controlled mcc with rts mechanics is still planned for the future. A bombardment from the mcc would be pretty cool too once it can move around. |

Well it would probably be for the Legit pc game mode and require a special corp role. |

I feel old, the mcc used to be flyable. this toon isn't old enough to have done it but I have flown them before. they're hella slow. you also used to be able to shoot the turrets. |

MCCs are about the size of a small destroyer, they're much bigger than most frigates. Cruisers are however freakishly massive. |

I want a random destroyer to come crashing down onto the map if it's shot from orbit of planet. Just a neutral "I kill everythiiiiing!" thing. |

I want an EVE capsuleer to be able to provide and fly the MCC. The idea is that from the EVE side you won't be seeing the actual battlefield directly from DUST. It would be an EVE side rendering. The EVE pilot wouldn't be worrying about actual game play from anyone else but only deal with the results of attacks with the same controls as any other EVE ship (managing cap, activating weapons and defensive modules).
This would be a reason to have fighters in the game for one. |

IMO MCCs needs to be slightly bigger so we can have fights inside them as well as vehicle launching capabilities. |

Of course, you'd need a good dropship pilot to get you up there and you'd have to disable it's shields first before you can land. |

and yes it was fueled in early concepts where if you took the fuel lines off it would lose its shields. IMO thats a game mode that needs to happen when attacking a MCC assets (as in someone paid bought and built an MCC for their own use) is on cooldown between fights and needs to refuel at its MCC yard. |

oh man
Imagine if for PC you had to physically move the MCC from one district to the other across the large terrain maps and that is how fighters would play into the game. You would have escort fighters versus the enemy defensive squadrons. |

Am I the only one who feels like all of this stuff is permanently scrapped under the self-imposed delusion that it is eventually coming?
Don't mean to sound pessimistic but... player made deadspace pockets? Modular POS building? Targetable subsystems? Ships that break apart upon explosion? DirectX 11 Support? Incarna? JOVIANS?
I just don't know. I don't like the pattern I see, but it's the only thing I see anymore. |

YES YES YES! Please convey this to CCP!
Something similar (But not the exact same) as Titan mode in BF2142. Go look it up!
It seems like CCP was actually developing along these lines.... what happened? I hear about the famous skirmish 1.0. |

I call BS my good sir. MCCs were given turrets well after they were forced to never move again. When they did move, players could not control them.
This is, of course, assuming you're not a hidden CCP dev who played the 2009 tech demo where DUST was awesome and everything we wanted already existed including huge maps, armies and MCCs that made a difference to the fight. |
