There is no need to justify what happened, no race in New Eden could have faced the might of the Jove and they know it in their hearts, its matters not, at the time our Empire was the closest possible military to being able to compete with the Jove, yet as we saw their weapons were uncompromising, and their battle strategies ruthless. |

Because the HMG is a minmatar weapon, as such it will be placed on the minmatar heavy as soon as it's available, those filthy ammarians shouldn't even be handling such beautiful weaponry.
