Can we get 100 WP or something if we kill someone with an officer weapon? i feel like owning them isn't enough, especially snipers. |

That would:
- make it more fulfilling if you own a proto
- get higher level players to focus more on their own, making it easier for newbies
- will give a proto stomping less reward and more gain for the ones being protostomped.
- give scouts some love (not enough), as they can't carry much equipment around
Implementing shouldn't be that hard: all that needs to be done is award a meta level variable for each fit at spawning. It wouldn't affect in-game calculations much, either.
To ensure that players still get enough SP from a kill, we can add a multiplier (e.g. total meta level x2), especially for newberries.

Many people object to the introduction of WP rewards for things like headshots. It's understandable to want this game divided from the likes of CoD. But I don't see any issue with it for pub-games. We already have the killstreak-esque orbital strikes.
A meta level variable for WP rewards exclusive to pubs would make this game far more appealing to the newberries and associated protostompees, as well as encouraging the protostompers to bring poorer gear into the fray.
It's win win in so far as I can see. |

I hope this is a joke thread. If you're using officer weapons, you should be racking up tons of kills (i.e. WPs) . We don't need more incentive for pubstomping. |

Read again, although it wasn't totally clear I do believe the OP was referring to the killer getting more WP if his victim had an officer weapon. |

I just want more D*** officer weapons. I love my Thale and would love to go one week on a killing spree with a balac and not worry about losing them. Its been a very long time since I have received one weapon and have been thinking very hard on how you can make them drop. To this date I have done everything possible and still, nothing. Using an officer weapon in Pubs is not a sign of weakness its a sign saying I am playing god mode come and get me . If more use them, sure some would get destroyed easier but the fun and the excitement of killing someone and taking there officer weapon, just to say weapons do not make a soldier. CCP should make it a little easier for us to get these as salvage or as trophies for doing well in a battle. |
