What is the best way to communicate in heated battle?
Having played with the best players in dust from multiple teams.
It is clear A great FC will win Battles!
Name the best in the game
These leaders have shaped Dust tactics, they are the forward thinking few that have adapted to each new build and made this game great for all their corp mates.
Lets here the shout outs and why.
Mine go out to
Soul
Kujo
13ear
Doc holiday
just to name some of the greats

Any group i FC or squad lead in has followed this format (everyone in team chat)
everyone mutes everyone not in their squad.
squad leaders have everyone except their squad / other squad leads / FC on mute
FC can either listen to everyone or mute specific people (i tend to unmute leads and a few from each squad so i can get a better idea of whats going on and hear more)
at the squad level comms are limited to waht needs to be said in the squad, at the game level leads can communicate fairly well.

He's not very popular, and isn't very active, but there is a guy in ZionTCD, name started with a G. He runs forge mainly, but has everything heavy proto.
Back when I was in Zion he was my favorite FC for corp battles. |

A simple and easy way for everyone ro be abke to communicate is to have everyone but squad leaders and snipers on push to talk. It will keep the chatter down and tge mercs will only relay usefull info. |

interesting that a lot of you mute your source of information
As a battle develops and your front line guy or letter holder is getting overrun as an fc you wont know it cause you have him muted?
Why in the world would you mute your players? just asking unless of course they are babblers .. |

Grimmiers was never the FC. He was too busy killing everyone in front of him.
I forge, and my name starts with a G, but I don't recall FC'ing many battles while you were still in Zion Shayz.

13ear, Laz, and HT
But none compare to the power of Cubs!
Hearing cubs scream "that's right Kujo go make me a sammich *****" or "BOOM!! Charlie Murphy!!"
There's nothing that's gets me having more fun. Honestly if it wasn't for cubs if have been in red star or syn after PFBHz. Although I told spongly I'd follow him in Not Guilty if TPs quit and he was still around.
I actually didn't care much for Eugene's micromanaging but other than that I thought he did well. Mavado was pretty good as well.
I know I sound like a broken record but PT SD if anyone remembers him was prolly my other favorite FC. Man I'd go to hell and back if he told me there was glory in it, he was a 3 tour Iraq Iran vet and bled leadership.
Regnyum is actually my favorite squad lead though. He's always spot on with crystal clear concise directions, follows through on his orders, and recognizes successes when they pay off that reinforces trust and camaraderie. Intended or not when he's on his game he's my fav squad leader. |

On this topic, I wish anyone who entered your dropship was immediately put on comms with the pilot while inside the ship. It is such a god damn nightmare trying to communicate to people when everyone but squad leads are muted. |
