The omega boosters are really close to convincing me to go for the veteran pack so that I can leave the 30 day passive running from that and have a 30 day active as well as 6 active omegas on stand by for events.
I have already dumped 25 bucks in and I just cant bring myself to believe that I will be happy with myself dumping another 50 specially considering the upcoming changes to vehicles.
Should I have faith in CCP for the long run and stock up before they are gone? |

Buy Active Omega and regular 7-day and 3-day boosters. Activate Omega on Wednesday. After you hit cap each week, pop an active booster (wait to buy them until you are ready to use them). This will pause your Omega booster for either 7 or 3 days. Once the regular active runs out, your omega will kick back in. Rinse and repeat to keep 1 Omega booster for 3-4 weeks. |

someone posted a few days ago the numbers on the passive. Effectively $30 per booster for only 720,000 SP extra a month.

Already did, probably going to buy another merc pack too before those disappear because they're just efficient when it comes to buying boosters. I was going to buy a couple active omegas for sp events and then mainly stick with with the normal ones until I run out of aurum, then just stop putting money in the game altogether. Drapedup's idea sounded interesting but it sounds like it would cost more aurum than just buying 2 of the omega boosters and using them to cap out for 2 weeks each, ie activating it on saturday and capping out for that week, then when wednesday and the cap reset comes along the booster will still be active and you can cap for another week.
Honestly though I'm waiting to see if the omegas will go on sale, if they do then ill definitely be buying them but if not then I'm not touching the passive ones and I will probably only get 1 or 2 active, otherwise it's just not worth the cost for me, can get alot more with my cash by just sticking with the normal boosters and putting in a little more time. |

This is why I had already decided against the passive omega.
Going with the veteran pack gets me a good combo of short term gratification in the form of standard active and passive as well as allowing me to stash away some omegas primarily for event use.
