It'd be in your best interest to include an "are you sure?" dialog box so people don't misclick into a skill they didn't want.
A few weeks ago I emailed support to see if they could help, and at first my reaction was "you've lost my business!"
But you didn't, because thankfully I didn't skill into the useless Dropsuit Command Lv 4 or 5. And that also needs to be fixed... I don't know why it's been overlooked but it appears to be completely pointless? No bonuses, and it's not a prerequisite as long as you've got Lv 3....
Those two things really need to be addressed. |

Agreed I have accidentally spent 300k on the wrong skill. I wanted it and would have got it 2 weeks later, but not then. |

you should have 24 hours to change a skill you spec into or until you start your next battle or something along those lines |

I agree that the Levels which are still available on the Dropsuit Command tree once all sub-skills are available to unlock was / is future planning which will eventually lead to something. Seems the base rule used was ISK, & then SP to levels 1-5 on all skills in the tree. Dropsuit Command isn't the only one by the way so those of you who pay attention won't "waste" them by leveling up for seemingly no reason other than using SP. The only thing I thought maybe could be affected was the "Training Cost Multiplier" hoping they would lower the ISK &/or SP requirements for all subsequent items under that Skill heading, but NO. REMEMBER, whether it says so or not, this game is still essentially a 'Beta' in the sense that many of the changes are implemented and considered solely on feedback and forum posts by those who love the game enough to do so, understand the mentality of 'Free to Play, Pay To Win Now" & obviously can see the potential of this game with known constant upgrades & changes along with the integration of EVE using DUST as the ground forces. I also agree with the reply of being able to have the option of adding a 'Confirmation" action which can be disabled/enabled via settings & especially the thought that you should be able to sell back skills, items, etc. whether it be at a fraction of original costs or within a time frame, but there would need to be a default initial offering considering the time-frame idea due to the fact that the problem lies with players who have already made the mistake(s) and need them back. A marketplace is a two way street if I understand the global interpretation, but the current system seems more like a dispensary. |
