So far im on my 3rd ... I have a habit of throwing my pad onto my bed when I get annoyed however sometimes I'll throw it too hard and it'll bounce up and smash against my wall .. I haven't played for 2 weeks because I havent had a pad to play with and I've been waiting on my step bro to come round so I can use 1 of his spares (8 hours away woop)
CCP if ya didn't annoy me so much I'd have spent the -ú60 on Aurum instead of pads but as it is im having to spend that money just to play the game in the 1st place .. and I thought this game was F2P xD no1 ever said anything about spending money on broken pads xD
So please tell me of any argh damn you DUST moments that have caused some form of destruction .. my count is -ú60 on pads and various dents on my wall xD |

i chew the R2 button and the joysticks every time i get killed unfairly... sometimes i try to crack the controller out of rage... sadly nothing has broken ... yett |

I've never been that angry at Dust. Pro Evo, on the other hand, has seen more than one hit the wall.
On a side note, that must be quite the bouncy bed you have. Do you sleep on a trampoline? |

Two in this household. and no, its form regular stress of the controllers they seem to keep making them cheaper.

I've been using the same controller that came with the system. CCP isn't responsible for your poor self control. |

Funnily enough Pro Evo has seen me throw these pads around alot as well but since I made my anti longball spam tactic I simply pass every1 I play off the park whilst I watch them repeatedly hit longballs to my defenders ... recently I've developed a .. go 1-0 up .. pass the ball around for the rest of the game style of play .. the rage mails I get calling me a cheater is hilarious .. although its even better when they try and foul you but your so good at passing that they cant get near enough to even take you out .. i used to play fairly but with people in italy/spain/etc dl stufff ont here ps3 to make the game lagg out (i have fibre optic broadband and just dont lag at all so it's not me ) and every1 spammign longballs to hulk/martins/ronaldo/van der mirch i developed a 3-2-3-2 everyone being close and playign a super deep defensive line super high pressing and super compact with 0 player support ... you have to be really really good at passing and be able to use alot of the tricks .. you rely on the 2 strikers and 3 midfielders to pressure the oppositions passers so much that they end up passign the ball eother intercepted by defenders, pass cut out by dms or they get tackled by the forwars and midfielders pressing ... it basically forces them to hit through balls with their defenders on their 18yard box which is super easy to deal with and when you get the ball bac you have loads of passing triangles and angles to keep the ball

the 2 strikers are in SS position eg as far back towards their own goal as possible whilst still being able to be designated as SS ... and the defenders are on the edge of the 18yard box
I will say that it is uslesss if you play a longball spam style of play , its been made purely to pass the ball and get into attacking positions to play a short through ball/cross/shot |

You do realise I was joking about it being CCP's fault right ? I know it's my fault ... but I see that humor is overidden by your desire to troll ... maybe if you threw your pad around a bit you wouldn;t act like such a **** to other people :P At least my frustrations are taken out on inanimate objects rather than people |

I think most people have a game they play or used to play that has led to pads being chucked around ... we all know it's stupid and we even think it's stupid as we are about to do it but still do it anyway as it makes us feel better for a second until we realise what we've just done and gingerly go over to see if its alright xD |

I haven't thrown my controller against a wall since I stopped playing Madden. But I have worn my controller out playing Dust. This weekend I gotta pick up a new one.
I mean, I can put my merc into cruise control with just a flick of a switch, its so bad... |

I saw some cool, tiny ps3 controllers at walmart I wanted to buy (not sony brand, and they come in different pastel colors) but I can't justify buying them because I've never broken my controller. That's right. I'm as cool as a cucumber, even when playing dark souls and demon's souls.
I did wear out a gamecube controller from super smash bros melee though. I used to be bomb as Zelda/ Sheik. |

I've absolutely torn apart controllers in the past in other online games, and I mean literally ripping it in half with my barehands then stepping on the remains several times until very little is identifiable... however now once I realize I have to fork out $60 for a new one, I resist the urge to rage on a defenseless controller (plus I have a digicamo one, which is more special than just a standard controller, so I treat it well).
Nowadays I find digitally raging to be just about as good, just come here and make some rage threads to vent. Problem solved. |

I got to hand it to sony, i have not lost a controller from gaming but have lost a TV as well as some sheetrock.
None from dust yet but thats cause due to previous experiences I learned to aim for the floor, Im sure my controllers day is merely one good counter sniper away from meeting its match. |

Broke mine early during closed beta, but not by rage smashing it. I literally sprinted so much, i nearly sheared my left stick (L3) off. It got so bad, when I would sprint, the stick would stay in the up position after I released it. |

Been playing FPS's since Wolfenstein 3D, never broke a mouse or keyboard, unless they died from exhaustion |

Not proud to admit that one of my controllers got hurled against the floor, cracked it around the shoulder buttons on both sides but a bit of superglue sorted it out.
It doesn't work 100% though, sometimes R1 doesn't respond at first which is pretty disastrous for an FPS. So if you ever kill me then that's why (cough cough).
I do love the game but it does frustrate the balls off me sometimes, I completed Demon Souls and Dark Souls offline without any guides or anything but they were like a Thai massage with a happy ending compared to Dust. |

My mouse have the sensitivity all **** up, and the dead zone is all over the place, and somehow it feels a bit like a Joystick...
I getting a new one tomorrow... my 30 this week, i hope this one will work properly i being very unlucky with them. |

Hum, my R2 button sticks in a little bit from the right side of the controller being cracked but that's 97% dropping it... A LOT and 3% rage after aforementioned crack. |

I don't know about controllers but my spirit and optimism in this game has been overkilled.
I used to be like an optimistic, visionary teenager who thought things could change for the better and believes in the best of people.
Now I'm a bitter old, pessimistic man that knows most people are too stupid or apathetic about matters for things to actually change (when it comes to this game). |
