Go on an elevated part of a map, and use it for tower defense. You will be amazed at how easy headshots will be. Watch protobears just die in 2 or 3 shots. I recommend an ishkune SMG or a Mass Driver to help you defend the "tower." Enjoy! |

works really well, headshots are easier when the head is in the way of hitting the body. |

Did you mean to say scrambler rifle? Because the pistol isn't good for long range melon popping in my experience. It's great for cqc though. |

The Scrambler Pistol is effective at pretty much everything within it's optimal range. Thank GOD I wasn't here when they had the range>AR :/ |

I did not mean the scrambler rifle. And if it's like on a roof lower than 20 meters it works amazing. If you can't do this you have bad aim. |

I switched from my SMG to a scrambler pistol a while ago. I doubt I'll ever go back. These things are, for lack of better words, ******* amazing. |

Oh wait, you mean like "Slightly elevated" as opposed to "higher than Tokyo Tower" like snipers do?
That makes waaaaay more sense. |

The only reason I switched from Scrambler to SMG is to conserve PG. I used to use the Flaylock, but I find myself disliking it nowadays. |

With pistols you can't camp at 80m and kill the easy way. You have to go where you can insta die, and AIM for the head. |

The scrambler pistol is most effective, in my opinion, when someone gets the jump on you thus having the clear combat advantage, so you retreat while your foe chases you, then after a little bit turning around with the scrambler pistol and unloading into him as he's sprinting straight at you. Easy and fun way to turn the tables. |

Easy and fun way to turn the tables. Totally, I usually drag somebody into a building, then run a loop. I am a Gal Scout so I have a 20 meter passive scan and no one's gonna pick me up. So I know exactly where they are but they have no clue about me. So I run around to their backside and pop some in the back of their heads.

It's not my fault people don't use Precision Enhancers. I am not the blind one here. I use ScP's all the time no matter the weather, it's just my favorite strategy. |

BOTH the scrambler Pistol And SMGS are POWERFUL weapons, gladly not OP. Just Powerful.
My personal recomendation for those who need it (i know we have quite a good chunks of good players) is use the weapon you need to cover your main weapon's weaknesess.
For example: HMG: CQ. Having another high RoF + CQ weapon as the SMG wont cut it. Pop shots from afar and draw them into your HMG effetive range. If you are good with it when they are there, they wont even have shields left... Mass Drivers: 2 shot shields , finish off with mass. Scrambler Rifle/TAc AR: Need some High Rof weapon for CLOSE quarters: SMG is best
ITs all about having all ranges and damage bonuses covered. |

The fit I am using the most is both Amarr Logistics, with both level 4 assault weapons for PG/CPU reasons. Also on my assault version of the logi, it has a lvl 3 scrambler rifle with the assault SMG. The AR is too boring IMO. |

Seeing as I run scrambler rifles I have always used the smg to finish off annoying Gallente and heavys. I tried the pistol a few times on starter fits but going for headshots means the pistol blocks the rest of the target and the sights obscure most if the head, it's a pain to aim. If it had smg like scopes I would probably run it on all my non scrambler rifle fits. |
