Tanks did not get a buff, if you ask a veteran tanker they will tell you CCP has jacked tanks to hell, if you ask a newbie like me, I'md dubious but curious.
Dropships are gone, no buff for them either.
LAV just plain suck. |

But we did.... everything including tanks got an armor resistance buff, and Swarm Launchers got their ammo reduce to the 3 per clip. .... what.... you thought i forgot about that ?
Tanks still are relatively worse off. Admittedly if tanking were as viable as running around on foot which it is not, then I would have no issue with AV, fact is they aren't, AV is insanely potent, yup a hard counter, though I figured swarms should be more AA, forges AT, and AV Grenades are just something that makes not sense in the EVE universe and should have died a long time ago.

LAV just plain suck. Lies and slander good sir!! Standard dropships remain, and they got an AWESOME buff. I will dig for my post on the matter. Assault dropships however are gone, which is a painful loss if that decision holds. DUST Fiend wrote:New Grimsnes / Old Grimsnes

Dropships are going to be really good, no doubt about it, though limited ammo is going to be weird, and it really sucks for Assault dropship pilots. Us logi pilots are used to having totally useless ships anyways, so turning a Grimsnes into a Prometheus is pretty damn simple. Not so for ADS pilots. Which sucks too, because my favorite dog fights are always against Assault dropships, when my gunners aren't special, anyways.
I was under the impression that ADS and Logi dropships were being removed. |
