What's his role? I ask because a 5 KDR tanker is a lot different than a 5 KDR logi. In terms of best corp to join I would say right now either Ahrendee or Ancient Exiles, although I will say that sometimes it's particularly advantageous to rule heaven rather than to serve heaven. Red Star is definitely up there; we've defeated almost all of the other top tier corps, and are competitive with Ahrendee and AE. If he wants to send an APP I can shepherd it through, assuming of course what you say is true. |

See that's the thing. Almost all of the best corps aren't very active in PC since no one wants to fight them. So if your friend really wants an active PC experience they might be better off joining a smaller corp like Pradox One or Pheonix Fed that are more actively fighting PC battles. |

ROFL isn't that active, really no one is. I would say go for the long run corp wise. Don't just join a corp because they're fighting PC now or they're the best now. Teamplayers was invincible a month ago and look at them now. As a logi, really look into the feel and corp culture of the corps you're applying to. Play a few matches in squad with them before committing. |

Ahrendee welcomes new recruits well. I'm a big part of Ahrendee myself. It's a great corp with good leadership, a great amount of resources, a well put together pro team, and always are willing to take in a new recruit. The only thing, though, will be that he has to join our trainee corp before actually joining Ahrendee Mercenaries. Don't worry. There is not much difference between the two corps because they share the same chat channel.
Contact me via message if you are interested.
The trainee corp for Ahrendee is Ahrendee Frontlinez.
Ahrendee is a good choice to join, for we control almost the most districts other than SVER, possess a great deal of talent, and can compete with the best of Dust. I actually believe that something is strange about Ancient Exiles, so be careful if you do join them. I do not recommend it though.

Hey, don't go throwing around insults or you might just have your butt handed to you in the future. That battle was a fluke. We were all discombobulated and confused. And I also believe you pulled a few tricks out in that PC. Your corp takes advantage of some of the glitches in this game, like the melee glitch, which is just scrubbish.
I cannot doubt you have skill, and you strategies are very thrilling. However, it would be more fun and fair if these glitches weren't being exploited.
However, don't insult us. There were some battles when you almost lost. AE vs RND are great adversaries, and probably the most popular right now.
Though, if he's looking for a corp a little less popular, then yes, apply to Generals or Synergy, or even RedStar. If you wish to oppose EoN. then apply to A.N.O.N.Y.M.O.U.S, Pro Hic, or something of the sort. |

This needs to be moved to corp recruitment. But yeah. AE is #1, RND#2, Red* #3, O.H. #4 (I might be underrating them cause I haven't seen who's quit or stayed).
Other Corps I'd consider joining if you're the type that doesn't want to join the top dogs but rather go somewhere small and make something great (a merc after my own consciousness) here's my small list of corps to go:
Semi Known Corps that I have the most respect for: Militaire Sans Frontieres (I just always thought most of these fools were cool since the Chrome Cup) Onslaught Inc (great people, not the most competitive corp but that's not their goal either) OSG Planetary Operation (Personally If I was leaving TP's this is where I'd go now. I respect their players a ton. No bullshit.)
Nobodies that I'd join: 3dge of Darkness (I think this team has what it takes to blossom into a top corp, just got some kinks to work out) R 0 N 1 N (I've always liked Lightning, these guys mostly focus on scouts)
If you need more info on any corp mentioned lemme know :P |

At the moment there's an Era of Peace. Also PC isn't what its cracked up to be don't let anyone fool you. Most of the time its a laggy slightly higher stakes FW match with friendly fire enable. Actually FW is better than PC at the moment. We have no reason to fight and really no reason to hold district if tax in at 15%.
If you want action join a small corp and go to fight club. If you want organization join an established corp but don't expect much fighting. Double edge sword sorry. |

I would not think he would be included in the PC battles against AE or any other challenging corps until his role is noticed and significantly helpful to the team.
There are, though, matches that come up that the CEO doesn't really care who plays, but only if they are RND. We've been having plenty of openings lately, and we get about 3-5 PC's per week. I wouldn't think he'd leave someone out.
Mainly, it's just a matter of analyzing his play style and getting used to them, then he'd be included in almost every PC if he's really good.
In my opinion, joining a corp with few but powerful rather than many but ordinary is better. RND are few but strong. Being in a corp with too many members will limit how many PCs you can get into. With RND, if you are there, and we are under 16 people (which is happening a bit right now for some PCs) we grab whoever is in RND. |

Let's just take a pause for a sec. Melee glitching or not, AE has beaten us in decisive fashion. We have not been the same since guys stopped playing after the FEC/EoN war.
No need to make excuses about it or downgrade their victories. AE is on top right now and it is what it is. We've been missing our integral players for a while now and we do what we can with what we have. And it isn't AE's fault nor their problem. They worked hard for their spot at the top and it's well deserved. Period.
I'm not sure what you're implying with these posts about popularity and other stuff mentioned but I wouldn't go that far. |

OK, first thing, while the War Room (where this post shouldn't even be) is the place for silly chestbeating, Rampage does tend to take it too far (meaning, he does make himself look like a fool at times ) Ignore that, I know I'm not the only one in AE who respects RND as a corp and as an adversary. Thank you for the GGs, looking forward to more in the future.
However, LOL wut? Jade Tech wrote:I actually believe that something is strange about Ancient Exiles, so be careful if you do join them. I do not recommend it though.
Also, why on earth would you recommend someone who is actually interested in playing dust to join SyNergy, they are so done with "lolDust"... (I know that some of them still play, but most don't, and afaik they certainly don't do pc anymore)
As for the OP, RND is a solid corp that's still active even though a lot of EoN has left the game, and I certainly enjoy doing PC against them, so not a bad choice at all. Same goes for Red Star, as a matter of fact, and I know there are some pretty amazing people there as well, lots of europeans too If that doesn't work out for you however, I'm more than happy to at least meet any European players interested in AE... |
