This is my way to play:
I start with a Light suit, kill some Mercs with Heavy, and end my game by reviving and supporting with my Logic.
I may be wrong, but when I start a new battle, my DSuit is the last one I use in the previous battle.
Yes, I have time to select my DSuit before I jump into action, but by then everyone is already out and away.
There may be a way to select a DSuit before entering the actual game, but the only solution I have right now, is to log-out and then back in.
Thank you for your help. |

Just saying, this isn't always a bad thing. I hold back on dropping onto the map to see whether my team is spawning in an area that would benefit HMG or Forge Gun. I play Ambush more than Skirmish though.
Minor tip that could help you: name your most used suits in such a way that they're easily grouped at the top of the list. It really cuts down on selection time, and you're only on the field a fraction of a second behind the person who jammed on the spawn button. |

Select the fitting that you want to start in, and set it as favorite.
It will now be the fitting you're defaulted to at the start of the match and at the Supply Depot. |

Doesn't work, it will remember the last suit used in your previous match.
I agree with the OP, reset my choice to my fave at the start of every match, at least then I don't have to try and scroll through 25+ suits.
NB: Yes I do have an awesome naming convention for my suits, I just have a lot of fittings

Same here. I have a cheap scout suit marked as my favorite that I use in battles to get to objectives as quickly as possible; I'll then usually change to an AR build for CQC or fall back to SR/SL if the opportunity is present. Default suit for the next battle is whatever I was wearing at the end of the last battle, not my favorite. |

The "remember last suit used" bit is what screws up everything. As long as it ALWAYS defaulted to your favorite, you could use "favoriting" to pick your starting suit for any match. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a convenience to load your last suit up, but it winds up making you scroll around and waste time. |

+1 to the OP.
Changing your favorite will only work if you've not yet entered a battle since the last time you started the game, at which point it defaults to your last chosen suit. |
