Usually I would shoot a charged shot then fire a couple of weak ones in succession. Now when I try to do the same I noticed that after the charged shot is fired, there is a 2 sec delay before you can fire uncharged shots.
Now I don't know if it was just the lag yesterday or anything but I was certain that this was happening and couldn't have been just me.
Also I hear HMG buff?

Nope.
What you're experiencing is the effects of Shotguns finally working. |

Ah, how did you know?
So the scrambler rifle nerf was meant for the future but instead it is got pushed back to yesterday? |

Scrambler Rifles are performing as intended for me. Both the Carthum and Imperial are exceeding expectations. |

Now it's just:
charged shot fired
2 sec delay
8 rapid weak shots in succession
Overheat
The question is "Why is there a 2 sec delay between the charged shot being fired and the other consecutive shots" |

Shotgun's are like melee
If you choose a mid-long range gun... and you let them get close.. Die? Adapt? Aim better? Move better? Or newberry's say FIND A BOX AND HIDE!!!!
Melee, Shotgun's, Novaknife's, Flaylock... all these thing's should be CQC quick death's and fast action, they do so much work to get in close
Oh and rumor mongering and lock blah blah probably coming. |

I don't understand, but lets stay in topic here. Does anyone else notice this delay in-between charged shots being fired? |

OP, I find this happens whenever I switch to the standard Scrambler Rifle. However, when using the CRW or Imperial I can still fire uncharged shots immediately after a charge shot with no delays. |

That "two second delay" is the aperture of the rifle closing back down to its normal operating size, though I'd say two seconds is a bit of a stretch - I'd say it is more of a half second to a second delay but overall the delay is not long enough to be bothersome. |

Ah thank you, I was actually using the "Scrambler rifle" on that day, so that must be it.
I use the Imperial more often, so maybe that's why I noticed something wrong when I switched to the Standard version. |

So there was a nerf? I'm confused because before the scrambler rifle wasn't like that. You are making me doubt Aero's response now. Anyway I must get in-game and check if the Imperial works fine like Aero said. |

Honestly it's one of those things that back when you could only use the standard scrambler rifle you didn't really notice since you didn't know any better, but after extensive use of the superior models you wonder how you ever survived without them. |

You must have lag, this is all untrue information. Back up your statements with some proof next time please. |
