Don't agree. The auto SCR rifle has too much dispersion to be useful at range, especially vs a Duvolle... |

The Assault SCR more dispersion than a Duvolle ? Is actually the other way around .... The SCR have practically zero dispersion.

On my HMG Heavy if I go head to head with an Assault suit with an Assault Rifle, even well within my optimal range, the Assault Rifle will win every time. It does not feel like the HMG was buffed. |

Stop with the Kb/M already... it is dead. No one is using that crap anymore. Most Kb/m users left the game months ago, the few that was left have gone after the 1.4 update, and is only about 10 of us that are trying to make the transition to the DS3. |

I still see plenty of Kb/M strafing happening, its very easy to pick out because they change directions instantly without slowing down. It's as plain as day. |

Nah, that is probably just scouts, or modded DS3's ...just ask around, even better ask CCP, i'm sure they have the input data that shows that not many people are using the mouse.
People are not stupid, the mouse sucks bellow believe. If you not prepare to learn the DS3 you better leave, because the mouse is DEAD. |

Sorry, but don't think so. Keyboard and Mouse have been a part of gaming forever. And it will always be that way, at least until we can use our minds rather than our bodies as input devices. And, yes, I do use k/m. BTW, not crap |

Nah...I can tell no matter what type of suit it is Heavy, Light, or Medium. It's always the same rapid change in direction.
You can't achieve that on a ds3 because of the nature of the joystick.
With a Joystic, when strafing you always start in the center, then accelerate to one direction or another. When you change directions, you have no choice but to decelerate as you move back toward center, then accelerate toward the other direction.
The movement looks like:
> accelerate to top speed, < decelerate to center, accelerate to top speed, > decelerate to center, accelerate to top speed
The Kb/M doesn't have this restriction because it is simply pressing a button to move. You press > and go > at top speed, then press < and immediately are moving < at top speed.
The movement looks like:
> top speed, < top speed, > top speed

It may "emulate" the controller in some ways, but it still has an instantaneous change in direction, where the ds3 does not. |

Maybe.. just "maybe"...that people that you thought where using the Kb/m, have been using a Modded DS3 all this time. I guess we should thank CCP for doing this, now we can truly see who the real Scrubs are.
Kudos to you CCP, well play. |
