Examples of core content in Dust include: -Racial light frame dropsuits -Racial heavy frame dropsuits -Racial LAVs -Racial HAVs -Racial Dropships -Racial assault rifles -Racial heavy weapons New content, on the other hand, is stuff that is purely expansionary and, instead of adding stuff that is critical to the core mechanics of a game, adds stuff that allows you to play the game in more interesting and unique ways. Examples of new content in Dust would be: -Fighter aircrafts -MTACs -MAVs -Cloaking modules/equipment -Bubble shield equipment What many here are arguing for CCP to shift their focus on is core content, not new content. Also in terms of respecs, most players are only arguing for them upon the release of core content, not new content.

Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris 2513	Posted - 2013.10.02 09:43:00 - [4] - Quote Indeed I could stand for them not to introduce Expansion content like MTAC EWAR Factionalised/ Pirate Equipment MAV Cloaking and Modules over time but the fact remains that a large proportion of the content we are missing is basic empire aligned content, meaning that such empire aligned content that we should be able to access from the outset of our time in the game, and during the crucial early game stages where we are learning what we wish to do in the sand box of New Eden in critically compromised. Current Empire content is severely lacking, heavily in favour of Caldari and Gallente almost constantly and with every release. Minmatar and Amarr are still left out in the cold somewhat.

Hey now, the hot topic of the day has been about content, it's popping up in many threads by many people. Simply felt that the front page could use another, especially when so many comments in the various other threads seem confused about core and new content. This may or may not be apart of a concentrated effort from multiple participants

The topics I make are all, in my opinion, well formatted and to the point as well as each pertaining to a unique topic. Also as per CCP request, they prefer that we do not make topics that compose of giant lists, as is stated in the link below https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=37174&find=unread This goes against what you suggested I do - take all my thoughts and combine them to one massive thread. According to CCP that would be counter productive. Yes, that link is from the feedback section, but it is well known most CCP devs look to the GD far more often. Thanks for your concern!

Then I thought the "Placeholder dropsuit" idea seemed really popular, and maybe I'd be able to skill into my chosen suit that way (even if it looked wrong). That went without comment after 20+ pages. So, now it's 5 months laters, and the missing suits are still missing, the missing guns are still gone, and so on. So, wanting a Amarr Dropship piloted by an Amarr Pilot was a bridge too far I guess, and all that "very soon" stuff from Fanfest was destined to be unseen in the same year. Vehicle balance was pushed from 1.6 to (insert whatever here) ... but vehicle balance isn't even the missing stuff. What exactly is in new weapons that was also pushed (possibly to 1.7, so possibly this year?) is unknown. That won't add new dropsuits either. Though I guess getting ANY content in the course of a year is better than nothing.
