Sort of but didn't really consider it all that much until you mentioned it. I have never seen them at night or winterized. |

i wonder when we will be able to see, a pure green grassland type map, or a coastal map with the sea's and blue skies, the redish/pink sky is kind of depressing. |

why not? a coastal installation/compound would be nice for a change.
since all the maps are inland and have this depressing color to it, if you're in the warbarge and the planet is like green with blue oceans, wouldnt it be nice to fight on that planet? instead of having that planet shown to us on the warbarge yet we fight on this brown sub-Saharan kind of map with only a few bushes and patches of dry grass and its reddish sky |

oh man - the god rays!
There's one map where the 'Sun' beams through the buildings and mountains and it's soooooooooo good - I have to stop and stare every time.

It was pretty bad the other day, but great at the same time.
Our team four capped them on Line Harvest, yet they chose to hide up in the hill about the CRU at C. The God rays were blinding us as we charged up that hill to what we could only assume were our deaths.... but by the grace of God we all made it to the top to scourge the enemy from their position.

I'd love actual night maps, where the only light comes from lampposts, vehicle headlights, explosions, weapon flash, etc. Then the bloody spotlight on the nose of my dropship will be useful for more than lighting myself up light a christmas tree.
Night vision goggles would be cool too. Imagine if NVGs could be disabled by flux nades... the possibilities... |
