For the ps4 release, and noo not for any other reason besides DUST 514.... i know alot of you will leave for a bit but youll be back . i may try some things here or there but im in no rush to buy anything other than what dust is offering (as long as its tight as ****).
so. my question to you all is.... WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM CCP AND NEXT GEN DUST TECH.
drop your opinions, your expectations, what you would like to see, or just talk smack about which i know you will cause you love to do so....
maybe get a dev for lil leakage? huh....?

I'm waiting at least six months before I get a PS4. Goota love 'dem release day consoles (they always last so long!). |

I've only had one launch console that didn't last the whole gen and that was Xbox 360 so I'm going to take my chances. But has Dust been confirmed for ps4? |

I expect that Dust will run the same on PS4 as it does on PS3 for quite awhile after it moves over so that people can play on both. I just don't think CCP is going to abandon a large install until the PS4 ownership begins to approach current PS3 ownership numbers. I do hope that Dust is on PS4 soon after launch though so I can unplug the PS3 from my living room entertainment center and move it elsewhere in the house. |

yea your right it will be awhie before the potential of dust is unleashed on the ps3.... but saying that by that time technology wil have advanced alot farther too.... who knows by that time it could look like it did in the trailers of the game.... but i bet and would expect to it to be even better, in ways that we cant even think of yet. there are so many possibilitys out there for this game and i bet with the new tech and all the competion they will pull out all the stops .. think of playing dust with like 100 people on each team.
plus i still hold faith in the in game player market.

I love dust but BF4 us going to keep me busy for a while then watchdogs then destiny then half life3 so yeh Dust514 is hitting the bottom of a big pile of new shiny November could be very telling |

getting hyped about Dust on next gen is pretty silly cuz...... well.... most predictions are that it will be at least 1 to 2 years before it gets ported over to the PS4. And none of us really know how CCP is going to do it. For example, will PS4 users be able to play with PS3 users? No clue...... |

In the meantime very little, I imagine dust on the ps4 will be emulated from the ps3, we won't see anything next gen until we move to the unreal 4 engine. Even then I would prefer they got the ps3 version working first.
They are doing core improvememts, and once these are finished they will make a good spring board to move to the ps4. |

That will be one of the big challenges, plus maintaining two code bases for the game whilst trying not to limit PS4 with legacy PS3.
