it sux having to ask an eve player to become ceo of my corp just so he can apply us to an alliance and possibly steal/ destroy my corp. i want an alliance tab in my neocom that allows me to apply to an alliance without having an eve player do it. you cant really trust anyone nowdays right? |

Maybe have mercenary based alliances that are extremely cheap(compared to capsuleer corporation alliances) with limits and junk.
I agree though. We have no real connection with EVE right now and having an alliance means we have to work with someone from EVE ._. It just doesn't make sense. |

Maybe (just maybe) you might want to try playing eve at least enough to get the isk and training time to train your toon for corporation management and nothing else. At about $15 USD per month you are looking at paying the same cost for a Merc Pack if not less, once applied to the alliance you could cancel your subscription and pass leadership back to your Dust toon or continue to play Eve and have a good understanding about how some of the Eve side stuff works before we become more involved with Eve than we are now. If you want a longer trial period (free) click the link below:

Keep in mind that CCP is working towards full integration, just not in the same time frame many of us want them to pursue it in. Show your support for both games, the new Expansion launches on November 19th and is sure to knock your socks off, better than Star Wars, better than Star Trek Online and certainly better than Battlestar Gallactica. Check out Eve today, I don't think you'll be disappointed. |

How are the alliance maintenance costs paid? Doesn't it have to be through EVE? Or does the money automatically come out of each member corp's wallet? My friend was asking these same questions of me, but I have no idea. He was going to do exactly what you suggested but thought that it might all go wrong after leaving EVE due to the maintenance costs. Also, if you left EVE how would you manage the alliance with no alliance options in DUST?
EDIT: thanks in advance |

i don't want to ask an eve player (knowing how eve has always been) to become my ceo and make an alliance but risk them not giving the possition back. the dust coe's need an alliance tab. |
