what if there wasn't a respec but a restart* ?
*all stats are completely wiped clean all AUR ever spent is given back to player all pack BPOs are still with the owner
The scenarios I can think of that would happen are as follows:
a) the straw that broke the camels back for the remaining few dusters
b) dust community grows by new players sticking around and not leaving because proto stomping wont be back for a month or so and in the mean time they can get a gripping and a stable build
Personally I think it might be good for dust even though it would suck to see my 4.5 month 12 mil SP crumble away...
also I know this only happened in the beta and dust is a full game now, but who are you kidding dust still acts like a beta and it always will... |

sorry bro i have had passive+active boosters on since (a little before summer approx may) and I have that much SP with the triple SP event and the 2 double SP events being high contributions to it... |

I have 22 million SP from start of open beta to now. Him having 12 is pretty much what you can expect from most people that have played that long.

That's easy to do with just regular boosters I would imagine.
I have about 13.5 mil and I started in mid March. I have only ever used one 7 day active and one 30 day passive. |

If you want a restart now, then a few months or years later someone else will want another one. It's a bandaid on a massive wound. The problem lies in the SP/skill system itself, not people needing respecs/restarts.

A SP reset is too extreme and would probably drive many players away from dust. 
If you feel that the cause of newer players leaving is because the difference in gear is too great, then maybe the difference between proto and militia gear needs to be reduced?
Another helpful suggestion is suit-tiercide. |
