I know this is going to come across as a zero constructive input/whine thread, but it's legitimate feedback... I promise.
You really need to either start making an effort to fix the game or make it more obvious that you're making an effort to do something to this game. I've tried to recruit people to play and every person has always given me the same response:
"That game is so bad I can't even play it." Which is always followed by "I love the concept, but the mechanics/glitches/etc are terrible"
You're seriously losing a considerable amount of your serious gamers (aka people that actually spend cash on it) to having a game that still plays like a beta. This post is coming because I played 2 games today and had such a terrible combination of things go wrong that should've never happened, I have given up. I'm sure I'm not the only one with a similar mindset.
Like I said, I really don't want to be taken as just another complainer, but seriously... you're turning people away from this game. The only thing that has even kept me playing to this point is the serious potential this game has to be the most epic FPS ever, but until the basics are fixed I just don't see it going anywhere. Nobody (I use this term vaguely, I know there are people that do) cares about new weapons when the old ones are still disappearing mid-combat. |

My actual plan as of now is to keep logging on to rack up my daily SP and to check back in after 1.5. If it's still bad... maybe I'll wait for 1.6. If they can't get something right by then, I'm probably going to just quit.
I think what upsets me more than the actual problems in the game is the potential that is laying right there. If they could fix the mechanics and add the PvE that everybody has been waiting on, this game could be a serious competitor in the FPS market. Especially being a freebie. I understand that it being a freebie is part of why they don't have enough staff to tackle everything properly, but don't tell us all this stuff that you're going to do knowing good and well that you don't have the staff to pull it off. |
