Hey guys so, just recently I've speced into caldari llavs, and I was hoping some of you could help shed some light on the built in infantry shield booster thing.
-After you lock on and start reppin someone, and the beam goes away, is it still reping them? The module doesn't go on cooldown.
-Can you target and rep your gunner while driving around? I can get the lock on my gunner and the module activates but I can't tell if he is being reped or not.
-Does anyone know the numbers for the reps on this module?
It seems clunky, do you guys think it will get a QoL update in 1.6? Personally I think it would be nice if you didn't have to keep looking at the person you are repping(?), and it still repairs them. Maybe even an AoE bubble, triage nano-hive type repairer? I really like this tool but it seems hard to use, unless I'm doing it wrong(?).
What's your guys feedback I cant seem to find a lot of info on it anywhere. |

I agree, the repper is nearly unusable due to its clunky interface. Most people seem to agree, and various fixes have been proposed on these forums over time, my favorite of which is converting the module to a repping nanohive bubble-type effect...just position yourself near infantry, run the bubble, then drive off.
The initial post about the vehicle rework mentions paring back the set of vehicle roles to essentials, getting them working, and slowing adding roles back in over time...so, I suspect Logi LAVs will simply be removed for the time being. We're supposed to be getting a big ole dev post on the subject in the next few days, so hopefully we'll see then. |

after the lock breaks the rep can't be picked up again. Deactivate the module by selecting it again to force the start of the coldown so you can get it back a little sooner.
No idea for rep no's but I know from experience that it takes a duvolle gunner nearly twice as long to down me when our logi has me covered
as for the fixes no idea, lots of ideas have been thrown around but as far as I can tell CCP has not shown an interest in any in particular |

the logi lav will rep soldiers ? i thought it only repped vehicles and installations ( never tried one )
side note: anyone know from previous experience, if you have sp in a skill that is removed, do you get said sp refunded? |

Base/built in LLAV for Caldari will repair shield, Gallente repairs armor.
The vehicle ones are different and need to be fitted additionally I believe.
As for the OP once the beam is lost repair is finished, whether skill goes into cool down or target is lost. If target is lost you need to turn the module off, sending it back into cooldown.
As for gunner, I have no I dea, i will test later. Thinking maybe if he's outside vehicle then jumps into gunner seat whilst being repped. |

Comments from Wolfman on IRC seem to coincide with this as well. There's a good chance the LLAV simply won't be a part of 1.6 as they look to ensure the roles of the current LAV, HAV, and Dropship are fulfilled before readding the specializations. I do have to wonder what that means for Assault Dropships though ...

1. No, the lock is broken similar to a repair tool.
2. I don't believe you can rep any passenger
3. I know it's above 100hp/sec. I can fully rep a heavy and keep him alive unless s/he's under constant fire.
Currently, the LLAV is virtually useless. It's no longer a death-taxi (which is good), but CCP did not give it any real logi-ness to replace that with. The remote repair tool flat out sucks, it's incapable of supporting more than one player at a time. It's too expensive to use as just a transport vehicle, the turret gets a -50% damage on top of small turrets sucking anyway, and the only real support it can reliably provide is an active scanner, which the infantry models outclass.
The rep tool would be much better if it was an AoE like a nanohive. Also, ditch the shield repairing for the Charybdis and replace it either with armour repairing or ammo resupplying. It would make the LLAV a support vehicle capable of supporting full squads/teams and bring back some of its usefulness while maintaining its role. |

You can actually rep a passenger, or even yourself. Both involves someone outside the vehicle while the current pilot targets the person that will be repped. |
