if i were going to buy 20 dollars of aurum ( or 50 dollars of aurum ) shouldnt a person buy one of said packs? doesn't merc pack come with 20 dollars worth of aurum plus 2 bpo's, 30 day booster and a bunch of random mods, for 20 dollars? same with vet pack? 50 dollars of aurum plus some bpo's, boosters and usables for 50 dollars
ps what race and level is a dragonfly assault suit? |

I had the same debate and bought both packs. With the BPOs being removed and the passive omegas costing 65k, getting a vet and merc pack will be enough for two passive booster with some other bonus stuff like the dragonfly and covenant suits.
I'm pretty sure the race of both are caldari

Yeah, the packs are a better deal in every way.
Dragonfly Assault is a Standard Caldari Assault suit. |

The merc pack is the best value on the market. $20 dollars for 40,000AUR and 1 30 day booster (plus other stuff).
Vet pack and elite pack are next best. $50/$100 for 100,000/200,000AUR and 2/4 30 day booster (plus other stuff), which is good, but not quite as good as merc pack (if you spent $100 on merc packs, you'd get the 200,000AUR and 5 30 day boosters, i.e. more than elite pack gets you). It's worth getting these packs if you already got the merc pack and you want one of the 'extras' (best things are probably BPO LAV in either pack, BPO heavy and logi in elite).
Everything else (Aurum packages, armoured and aerial assault packs, starter pack, etc) is awful value. |

Buy them packs as they give AUR equivalent to the amount you spend and more. |

I have bought a couple of the Merc packs, as I think they're better deals than the stand alone AUR packs, but I doubt I would buy doubles of the BPOs if I needed more AUR in the future. Keep in mind that the various individual AUR bundles come with bonus AUR amounts (I didn't think it was worth it over the BPO items included in the Merc / Vet / Elite packs).
Something to keep in mind if you're debating the more expensive bundles, and if you happen to be from the NA region, is that SCEA is having their spend $50 and get $10 back promo this month. |

yeah, they went overboard with the omega price. i would have got a few if they offered 3 day omega boosters or even 1 days. i can cap in 2 or 3 days, so i want omega 3's not a 7 day booster.

Dragonfly is gallente.
Purchase the 100 dollar merc pack its far better than any other. I bought it when it first came out and when you look at it, its worth more than all the rest combine.
4 Boosters 200000 aurum 4 BPO Dren Suits Heavy(Sentinel), Scout(Gallente), Logi(Mimitar, and Assualt(Caldari) race bonus can be used on these suits 4 BPO Dren Weapons Shotgun, Swarm, AR, Scrambler Pistol and a bunch of other stuff.
Buy the merc pack take the Aurum and buy Omegas its a win win. |

Lol same for me, but then I remembered how ccp likes to hit us with random double sp events so I got one 7 day omega just in case.
Also the merc and vet come with their own 30day active and passive. So its worth it in the future too, you know when the omegas run out

or i seen on ebay. you can get the download code for dust that comes with new ps3's for ~$7. (20k aurum, bpo LAV, 7day active and other stuff ) just wasnt sure if this code/dlc could be applied to existing accounts |
