Not because I though Dust was a bad game I just got sucked into Eve. Any how I am currently downloading the updates for dust and I was hoping pick up where I left off with my heavy but I the last time I played the heavy was a bit squishy and I was just wondering if this has improved or would I better off skilling into a new suite? Any thoughts or advice would be great thanks.

Forge is in a really good place atm but that might change come 1.5. So yeah, heavy works but it can get dropped quickly if caught unaware. Duvolles are everywhere unfortunately.

I started speccing into MinLogi, not because I don't like playing as a Heavy, I simply wanted to have more options to bring into a battle.

They are close quarters, rip up someone who comes into range. If you play them like this, you'll do fine. If not, you'll probably have some issues. It's really the same as how everything else is played in this game, and as soon as more people realize this, I'm sure we'll have less QQ threads. Not every suit/weapon is supposed to charge in head first at the enemy. Shockingly, some require tactics.

They weren't nerfed into the DUST, just swapped buffer tank for active tank, and a bit of... CPU, right? It may be a case of 'everyone's using what they already skilled' instead of their general combat ability, as their prevalence in combat hasn't diminished too far. That said, I have no sympathy for any of them. If you skill into a suit specifically labeled as a Medic/Engineer role and expect it to be the best combat role, you have no right to whine when the inevitable occurs.

That way you can move around in the open with some chance of getting somewhere. When you see someone jump out kill em and then move on.
