Do you really think vets will spend more than double the aur for a 50% increase over a reg booster?
Lets Look at the numbers:
Reg 30 day passive booster at x1.5 : 28k aur Omega 30 passive booster at x2 for 65k aur.
Reg 7 day active at x1.5 : 7k aur Omega 7 day at x2 :17.5k aur
Is the 50% increase now worth more than twice the aur especially when your in the 15+m sp range and have a few passive and active boosters left over from the dren pack you bought in June .
My opinion is no not enough reward for the price.
Get the aur cost down to proper amount by Wednesday CCP or instead of buying aur with the $100 I just loaded on my psn I'll buy GTA 5 to see what all the hub bub is about I hear there online come out tomorrow .. maybe spelunky too..
And to all the guys who wan sp now dont waste aur on omegas until they price drops or you'll be cheating your self out of sp in the long run buy 2 normal for less.
Can't wait to hear what the rest of you have to say.
If were lucky we'll get a blue tag and an explanation to why we are being gouged.

Why ask the question if you gave the answer yourself?
It's not (mainly) for the vets, it's for people like me that have a job and are never able to even cap the weekly cap but still want to play the game in a non-casual way. We want to keep up with the people that have no partner, no job, nor private life or just such a good combination of those that they can play enough to not need those boosters in the first place ;D |

Honestly, Omega Boosters should be restricted to accounts <6 months of age (since SP cap was reset about six months ago) and to returning players who haven't been online in a while. Just my standpoint. That or they shouldn't exist at all. |

Hey, fair enough. I'm cool with that. I have 20,000,000 SP and I'm honestly tired of killing Dust Babies as they pour into Faction Warfare because of the shoddily planned events.
My problem is that the players like myself with accounts that are a year and a half old are still eligible for it. |

Waiting to see if they go on sale, was going to get the $50 pack anyway but really if I can't at least 2 month's worth with my total 110k aurum (maybe a little more) then it's just not worth it. I can just keep doing what I've been doing with the regular boosters and then just stop putting money in the game once I'm out, will give me more bang for my buck anyway. |

It actually makes sense from an economics perspective to charge more than double for double the SP gain. It gives you an edge over other players so it makes sense to charge a modest premium for that advantage. I just bought a bunch of them. |

It does make sense because you get more in less time, still damn expensive, $70 to get in 2 months what you could get in 4 for free without even playing the game? I mean the equivalent is to spend a little over $40 to get it in a little less than 3 months and even then if you're buying the merc packs you get active boosters too. Speaking of which can anyone confirm if they're just being removed from the market? |

It only really gives you an edge on catching up if you have a low sp count. At almost 16m sp I guess I just dont need them that bad... Or the majority of dust players are the SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY types ... that arnt worried that removal of items on the psn store could be a sign on non faith from sony and a sign of inpending doom looming over our game. |
