Clarification needed...
When one drops in to "Clone Failure Imminent" mode, does that mean right there that you lost a clone from the team clone pool?
If yes then what's the point of the count down, just to save a suite?
If this is the case it only feels half right.
Why would your team clone pool lose a clone if you are not in "Clone Terminated" mode yet thus not really dead? (This also goes with an idea i had, read below.)
Suggestion...
If you don't lose a clone till you hit 00:00 and are in "Clone Terminated" mode then why are so many people running selfish setups that don't as standard equip:
-Nanite Injectors or Scanners (now)
Those Logistics guys are not your nurses they are just Logistics not Medics. Too many times i am down and there is no one around to help you back up. So my guess was well everyone must be using the scanners cause i don't see any uplinks really and nanohives that much either. Unless they run their suites with empty equipment slots but that's just a waste of a suite if all you do is run for K/D's. Plus you are killing your Teams Clone pool by terminating your clone before timer run out.

Shouldn't one get his 50wp from Terminating the Clone only, since that is true kill?
Another would be to only finish matches when the last clone got terminated not when it reaches zero or 2 mints after. Zero means your clone reserves are empty no more spawning is possible but the match is not over till you find a kill the last Clone.
Plus it would apply well to Ambush since those are the matches that rely only on the Clone Pool.
Was is making matches to long?
Cause i am sure it was already considered on the drawing board.
Plus it would make for some nice end matches duels and add a sturdy competitive part to dust which it lacks thus the Tournaments being a joke at the moment and should only be played for fun and meeting new people since the game is far from balanced to be truly competitive.
(I am not even bothering with the glitch QQ'rs when anyone can reproduce them and is far from anything major as Iron wolf Saber had already mentioned) |

This is a reasonable idea that I agree with. You are not dead until that timer runs out. |

Clone pool is depleted by spawning, not a death count. Which is why if one team is using needles well the number of deaths on the kill board will be higher than what the clone reserve would lead you to believe.
In several PC matches we have used that to our advantage by holding spawns so the null cannons win the match without losing more clones than necessary. |

Never liked enemy red lines or minefields or whatever games have had till now. Cause when you get owned, you get owned. And the length of the matches never allow an opportunity for a real come back by then anyway.
And that MCC AFKings... i had posted something about that at one point where the inside of the MCC is concidered a red zone so you have X:Y time to get out.
Good points though cause i really forgot about the red lines. |
