I remember all too well when the shift from Codex to Chromosome occurred, Manus peak was forever changed. -Alpha was changed to Bravo -Bravo was changed to Charlie -Charlie was changed to Alpha -The "village" where Charlie currently is was removed for interchangeable shorter socket structures -The balcony above what is now charlie is where the Objective used to be -The rolling sand storm was removed -The shield generator is long gone back behind the Gallente ground base -The sky was brightened -What is now Bravo was drastically changed, it is now much flatter and the terrain is much more "mundane" and open -Supply depots were moved -Skyscrapers were moved The list goes on.
I am asking if it is possible to catch Codex Manus peak up to Uprising speed and make minor distancing changes (like increase the gap between what was once Alpha and Charlie like you did in Chromosome). I mean surely you did not entirely remove the map from your database *glances at LogicLoop*, surely it is not gone forever.
I made a thread about missing old manus peak a while ago (but I think it's disappeared with Uprising) and some people were on board. Codex Manus Peak was a dark depressing landscape that seemed to be out of a dreary nightmare. It totally complemented the kick ass dark music the game had at the time, as well as the artistic star map but that's a different story.
LogicLoop, Mintchip, Eterne, whoever. Please tell me I don't have to go on some Indiana Jones quest to discover the fate of Codex Manus Peak. For those who aren't as old-timey as me, here are some EULA infringing videos that I did not upload (don't look at me for posting man, they exist regardless of my existence). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibc7b3Hn8LQ <-Ambush https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdruYmznWjE <-Skirmish |

Oh yeah the main reason I miss it is because of the sand storm and the dark skies, and there were plenty of places to hide *Anectdote* Whenever my Baloch caught fire near what was once Charlie I would go just left of the nearby sky scraper and into the weird array of large cylinders for repairs. |

The odds of it returning are slim. The area has been highly altered, the terrain is permanently changed (a whole new terrain map actually). We would have to actually rollback through our archives to bring it. Then we would have to bring it back up to current standards. It also would be the only area we would want to pull out of a terrain map that has three. So we would also need to create at least two more game mode areas to consider it being of value to release again. |

I personally remember cursing a lot at this map. The issues with snipers were even worse than in the current layout. Are you sure you want it back?
P.S.: It did indeed have it's ups. Infantry fights in the valley were very nice with the periodic cover provided. However between snipers and railgun tanks there were very few good infantry fights. |

Snipers are a big problem on any map really, it's just that the bowl was considered worst because of it's bowl shape. Also there was the glitch where you could see people across the map through the fog as black dots in sniper scopes. |
