First of all, I'm not 100% sure whether this is still the case in 1.4, but as close as about a month or so ago I had a death from a player activating his REs a second after I killed him, killing me. Kept forgetting to post about it here.
Here's a video of the bug in action:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7H3mrAzr7I
Skip forward to 11:15 and you will see the player placing an RE, dying, then activating his REs twice, killing two people in the process.
This is an old video, from the time when the TAR had 30 rounds in the clip, but I can confirm that this bug was still active after the TAR was toned down. |

heres the thing.
triggering remotes after death only works if your clone is stil active and revivable.
if your clone ISNT revivable you cannot trigger remotes.
not sure if its intended or not, but its pretty useful |

this is intended. The logic goes that if you're not bled out, you can still trigger the REs , with your dying Breath as it were. If your clone is terminated however, you can trigger them since you're truly dead, and not just bleeding out on the floor nearly dead.
This is intended to work this way.

And REs are supposed to turn into Land Mines if the owner dies. Eventually.

In that case, I'd dearly like to finish throwing grenades if I'm killed in mid-throw.

Something more like a 5 meter i have no strength left in my arm because i am dying throw sure. Also grenades really should blow up after you die. They are very stupid devices once activated they are going to go off. |

Hmm. Primed grenades should fall to downed persons feet and be a hazard to anyone close - most often terminating the bleeder as well. |
