Would be interesting if CCP could make a crafting system instead of direct weapon drops. Basically you get loot or "parts" after every match. After you obtain enough parts, you can use your ISK to craft any officer ore regular weapon you have. Obviously you're gonna want some restrictions on the more powerful weapons like a "Thale's blueprint" loot item or something so you cant just mass produce only Thales except the normal Standard, Advanced, and Prototype weapons that are readily available in the marketplace can be crafted for much cheaper, trading in a good chunk of ISK price for parts you can find on the battlefield.
I just feel the item loot drop system could be expanded to be more useful other than just "Super-OMGLOB-RARE-Drop" we have now. No rare drop? Thats fine, you got parts that you could use to craft some regular weapons. Of course this idea can still go hand in hand with CCP's future plans of implementing a more comprehensive loot system where what you destroy can determine what you get. |

Oh ye of little understanding of just what we are in for if DUST's **** gets straightened out...
CCP has a very... ROBUST and involved crafting system. Once it goes live DUST side I think you will be pleased if it's even close to EVEside manufacturing. |

Thats pretty much where I got the idea from, I just have extreme doubts that there would be a direct connection between Dust and EVE's market. Just look at the influx ISK would have on Dust, I couldnt imagine EVE's resources pooling into Dust either. Not to mention that EVE pilots would even be willing to part with their resources to support players in another game that they will probably will never see in action.
My suggestion is pretty straightforward, create our own resource/salvage system independent of EVE that can still strive just like EVE's market. |

Looking at the plex -ú - isk conversion compared to predicted AUR -ú - isk conversions is rather concerning when they are supposed to be in the same economy at some point. However so long as industrialists eve side get paid they'll build whatever sells, that won't be an issue. |

Well officer drops will never be replaced entirely, but a staple of the eve crafting system is that from mats all items come, and to mats all items may return... so grind up those extra guns for extra mats once that gets introduced |
