Getting picked up on the minimap by enemy installations and objectives is extremely annoying. Is there a way as a scout to not get picked up by these scanners?

I'm curious about this as well and I wrote a guide on scanning with the help of friends. |

CCP is putting the cramming finishes into 1.6 tightly packed as possible trying to get things in that are a bit overdue. |

Did I miss something? This is not answering my question.
Or do you mean that it isn't a way to get passed the objective/installation scanners right now but will be in the 1.6 update? |

of rather you should bait the reds into shooting at them so that the turrets hone in on them and start blasting away while you laugh maniacally |

hmm. ok it seems that some of you aren't understanding my question.
Question: Is there a way to not get picked up by objective/Installations scanners(enemy TACNET) when getting close?
I am always able to see my enemies when they get close to an objective (not actually hacking anything) so i'm guessing they can always see me when I get close to an objective or installation that isn't even in the same elevation that I am. |

It appears like they have a scan range/precision/profile like the rest of us but there team share is still enabled. If this is the case then one would simply lower the profile some more. Then again I can't say what there precision is so the question remains "How low does your profile have to be to duck it?"
This is just a theory and it is possible that they are just OP.
`Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST. |

Yes, play with a tanker and watch as they destroy every installation in the match or you can do it yourself. The large missile turrets wipe them out the fastest. |

No, you can't hide from it, even as a scout.
This mechanic was implemented to stop people from spawn camping CRUs/Objectives. Used to be every CRUs/Objective you would spawn in was a gamble. Is it safe? Or is there an enemy squad waiting to massacre me?
Overall it's a positive change with a minor negative drawback. |

I guess I understand that but isn't that was the stealth spawn is for?
So are you absolutely sure its impossible to get under the scanners detection range as a lightframe user with profile dampners? Guess i'll have to take your word for it since there are NO DEVS that wants to take 2min out of their very important work to just clarify this :( |

This is a good question. I know when I'm in an assault suit the turrets will track and shoot me from 100m but in my scout suit lvl4 lvl5 dampening and a complex dampener I have little problems with them. Might be just luck when in scout suit but I think The do have a set Scan precision. Now I want to test this |
