My alt uses a flaylock. But my main (GåÉ) is taking up my time I love the Miss P***. you just gotta know how to use it. I cant comment on the blast damage as I havn't got to proto yet but I don't shoot and pray, I aim and hit. Their power is ok but with the armour buff it is much harder to bring tanked suits down but then again it does a surprising amount of damage to tanks in the right hands which the other sidearms can't really boast about.
You can't limit ppls choice of weapons (in terms of race, Heavy is different) in a sandbox game like this |

You can't limit ppls choice of weapons (in terms of race, Heavy is different) in a sandbox game like this i don't limit anything, since there would be a normal weapon path and a racial weapon path (but only for one weapon).... at the time it takes to take down a guy with a flaylock (aim and not pray n' spray) my assault smg has already killed the guy .... and the scambler pistol too... and when the enemy slightly moves your slow flying rocket will miss him :/ Yeah but what your proposing isn't like, say, the amarr suit bonuses - They don't alter the weapon but in a roundabout way make the gun have a higher damage threshold, which you still need to reach to be at full effectiveness. But then again I think CCP are adding suit-gun bonuses down the line so maybe then it'll work better In the meantime I'm ok with how it works |

But then again I think CCP are adding suit-gun bonuses down the line so maybe then it'll work better In the meantime I'm ok with how it works which sidearms do you have at proto lvl? how many ppl do you kill with your Flaylock? how many of them are protos and how many of them are std/ adv? none but at lvl 3 with SMG and Flay on my alt in a basic(2) frame. and I usually take out basics/adv but have gotten pro's as well but I don't really take notice I think I usually get 4/5 kills a match but depends on situation, its not a primary weapon (though I use a SMG as one thanks to suit bonus
Edit - I don't really see how your question is relevant as it also depends on the team I run with as well |
