The raffle of gunfire reverberates in the air, projectiles firing off at the incoming Baloch as Maximia maneuvers the vehicle into a drift, dodging the bullets and nearly sending the copilot, Demel, out of the vehicle.
"You alright there, buddy!?" Yells the Minmitar pilot, Maximia. Chuckling while gunning the engines forward, driving with the other hand grabbing Demel into his seat.
"Why do you drive so recklessly!?" Wines Demel, leaned back into the edge of his seat. Hands gripped on whatever his thin fingers could grab onto.
Maximia chuckles and drifts into a turn. She checks behind her and notices a dropship closing in, missiles flinging from its sides. She punches Demel in the soldier, nearly sending him out of the car again. Startled and still shaking, Demel pulls himself closer to Maximia to retaliate, she suddenly grabs his Minmatar logistics helmet and with one hand and tilts it towards the dropship with ease.
"Deal with it!" She yells, grabbing Demel by the back and yanking him out of his seat and onto his knees on the seat of the Baloch.
Demel fumbles and trips his way into the gunnery compartment. He pulls himself to the missile cannon and fires back, suppressing the dropship and causing it to change course. Demel then sulks into the corner of the gunnery seat, observing the battle and the road. Out of nowhere, a Caldari heavy dropsuit lands on the ground a few meters away from the Baloch, Forgegun in hand. Maximia inhales deeply and curses in Creole, she swerves in an attempt to dodge the primed forgegun, but it's too late. The deadly payload beams towards the Baloch and slams into it, throwing half of Demel out of Baloch and the unfortunate Maximia obliterated with the vehicle as it concave forward and on top with the momentum of the projectile and the vehicle. Electronics and flesh mix in a grotesque "Jackson Pollock" of gibblets, indecipherable from one and the other.
The Heavy raises his mask and flicks his finger into a pistol. "Bang.". He then does a slight dance in his large suit while walking towards the half of Demel panting and crawling on his arms towards the Scrambler Rifle.
"Really dude?...Damn," The Heavy then takes a few steps and picks up the rifle, throwing it behind himself into the fire that has consumed the wreckage. Maximia's dismembered and limp body hanging outside, crisping and browning, still having her smug over-confident grin even after death. "I figured you'd get crushed along with that four wheeled cart you call a 'car'."
The Heavy chuckles and looks around him. Demel rolls his eyes while blood oozes out of his mouth, forcing him to remove his helmet. He gasps for air and rolls over on his back, panting and looking at the Heavy.
He then looks at the dying Demel with annoyed eyes, "What, bro?".
Demel musters his strength and looks at the Heavy with equally annoyed eyes. "The **** are you waiting for?"
The Heavy blinks a little and puts crosses his legs, putting his elbow onto his knee and putting the base of his helmet onto his knuckles. "For you to die...." The heavy raises his eyebrows and laughs his deep booming laugh again.
"Wu-...what?" "For you to die!" Demel look upwards towards the sky puzzled. For me to die...he could kill me right now and save me this pain and his time!
"Why wait for me, when you could-" "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. Ye' see...I've been watching you guys shoot people and it's just got me bored and I feel like conversating! Half my team is just....dumb and I wanted to pull you guys over for a chat!"
Demel frowns and hacks up more blood, sprinkling the Heavies face by accident, making him blink into a neutral expression.

"Were not going to have a long time to talk, aren't we huh?" "N-nope...." "....huh," The Heavy then scratching some stubble along his face and looks at Demel, then at the wreckage behidn him, then back at Demel. The wind blows leaves around and in between Demel and The Heavy. "....you like forgeguns?"
Demel let's out a groan like sigh and looks away from the Heavy, the pain excruciatingly painful now. He thrashes a little and burps up more blood. I wonder where my legs are...and where's Maximia? Demel slowly turns over, still annoyed and frowning.
"No..I do not like forgeguns." "Why not?" "Cause you SHOT....ME....with A FORGEGUN?" "...Hey, hey.... Hate the gun, not me." "I am hating the g-gun-" Demel then twists and gags as blood trickles out of his body. "No, with that kind of diction, you are hating me." "....wuh.....diction!?" "Yeah..diction." The heavy then crosses his arms and throws his chest outwards. "....I don't give a **** about your diction you ****!" Demel says nearly out of breath.
"Diction is important, you probably should be more open minded..." Says the heavy while smiling a little at Demel.
Demel then seethes at the Heavy with wide open eyes and a slight snarl under his breath. He then looks up at the sky and squints, realizing that maybe his own diction was correct, and not the Heavies.
"...No," says Demel, turning towards the Heavy and looking at him blankly.
"Hm?" Says the heavy while playing with his forgegun.
"No...since I emphasized that the forgegun shot me, not you." Demel says nearly out of breath again, panting a little before resuming.
The Heavy pauses to think, eyes moving towards his left and frozen in body, he then looks back at Demel and brings his head closer to Demel to hear him better.
"...and?" "So! I'm correct, my diction isn't wrong." "...Uh....." The Heavy looks away from Demel again and contemplates, ruminating on Demel's argument.
Demel then begins to spas and contort, his body loosing too much blood and his muscles twitch and pull randomly. His breath quickens and his eyes go wide. Finally Demel thinks.
"...yeah I guess your right then-" The Heavy says looking back at Demel, but realizing that this isn't Demel, instead a blank husk with calm dead eyes looking back at the Heavy with a gaping mouth.
"Hm....yeah, I guess he doesn't really like them then."
The Heavy slowly mounts himself onto his feet and dusts himself off, walking with forgegun relaxed on his shoulder off into the distance.
"I should have just killed them and not destroyed that Baloch...." |
