found myself sat on a hill today minding my own business when all of a sudden an enemy mcc drops from the sky and starts slaughtering everyone in sight. i was too far to offer real help so got out my trusty sniper rifle and took aim. after exhausting my entire ammo supply and my 2 pack of nano hives i sat back in my deck chair and cracked open a beer. nothing more i could do. the resupply was way too far to risk it so decided to just wait out the carnage.
all of a sudden i see a tank with familiar markings on it. i cracked out my neocom and began searching for where i know them from. and i found it. he calls himself S**********D. he has long held the belief that he should be a god among men but when confronted he refused to see reason and his beliefs became more and more unreasonable. needless to say he was shunned by the majority of the mercenary community and is often found communicating his misguided beliefs with 3 known followers.
anyway i'm here with my beer and there is the man who would play god in his brand new madruger main battle tank trying to convert the local inhabitants and merc's to his flawed belief system. i knew it was only a matter of time so i ran with all the stamina i could muster briefly stopping to drink another beer or 2 to the nearest resupply still under our control. i reached inside and pulled out my most powerful anti tank weapons and made my way slowly to the road side some 200m away where i didn't have to wait long for my victim to arrive. believing he was almighty he was driving care free in the open. with no support troops or nearby cover, a rookie mistake.
he was stationary for about 30-40s some 3-400m away from me and i was doubtful i would be able to kill him in time before he could retreat which was his usual tactic. however i had the upper hand as he was too complacent with his false sense of superiority and he remained where he was. i took aim and soon 18 swarm missiles where upon him although they barely scraped his shield way. no problem. i started to reload and to my disbelief he remained still. big mistake. another 18 swarms were sent down after him. this time he was toast.
the flash as the munitions aboard caught light could be seen for miles. i do love fireworks. it was a scene of much celebrations and beer toasts through the rest of the night. i only wish i could have seen his face as it all blew up. oh well he did send me a hate mail after he re cloned but that was to be expected from this breed of merc. i think he may have been from the flawed first batch. |
