It would be a good thing for me if we have an option to choose between different SP systems.
I have 3 systems in mind.
- Total active SP
- Active/Passive SP
- Total passive SP
Total Active SP
This system will reward players that have time to play the game, you will gain more SP per match and once you hit the cap you will gain all your WP for every match.
Active/Passive SP
More or less like now.
Total passive SP
You will gain your SP passively, all the passive SP+ 3/5 of active SP (you are not playing, you can't have it all), this will be useful if you can't play the game for a determined time.
System change
You will be able to chose your system when you want, but it will apply only after the next wednesday downtime (no matter how many time you change it, it will always apply on wednesday, a system must run for 1 week from wednesday to wednesday) |

For someone who barely has time to play anymore due to a busy schedule, I support this idea. |

Intriguing, especially to people that want to wait out changes, fixes, etc.
I think a lot people's issues with the current system could be resolved with SP rollover though. I like the passive solution for waiting out bugs though. If you really hate the AA and the current time-to-kill, you could wait a month to see if they fix it. Or never play again if they don't, but you get the idea. I would've liked to flip on the passive while they had the squad-join bug, since that took over a week. |

A pretty good idea. I've noticed a trend with Dust, it seems it's becoming the stop-gap PS3 game. When a new shiny game comes out (GTAV for example) there is a massive drop in player count. But after a certain time those player come back to play Dust in the meantime they are waiting for their next new shiny game. Your proposed system creates an increased incentive for players to come back. |

And the weekly SP gain limit for only actives would be 360K SPs per week while only passives gain should be 50K SPs per day
Oh, this could be really fuc**** great for me, for sanityGÇÖs sake, for retaining newberrys, for new experiences for tired vets.
Also being able to switch between systems once in a while could be really cool.
ThereGÇÖs also the thing about this potentially helping sell more boosters money CCP, money!!! we know you want it
In the end itGÇÖs a really good idea dude! |
