Knowing BF2, BFBC2 and BF3 I know I'm going to have a lot of fun and content for about two years. This whole packed will be around 100Gé¼ if I break this up in about 2 years it is absolutely fine for me. I'm still not sure and I can wait till the PS4 release, so I still have time. Why am I hesitating? I love the Dice product, they always give me a very god and high quality. It is save to say: "Is it dice? Yeah you can probable pre-order the ** out of it". But dice is AE, and I hate EA. I'M boycotting a lot of EA products I would love to play, like Sim City. I love Bioware, as well but I hate them for being EA as well. The quality of BioWare especially dropped very hard for me since EA owns them. Speaking of Quality. I would like to invest in Dust. I have the feeling that this game could have bean great and I was extremely exited about it since the first announcement from Hilmar (Hilmar Veigar P+¬tursson). But now? This is has not become the game that I was looking for. It let me down in many points. Like the passive SP only. But I somehow adopted the Idea of active Points for a FPS. Not having all the basic suits and vehicles bothers me a lot as well. This game is still meaningless and not as fun as it should be to justify it. BF4 will be meaningless as well but it's going to be a fun ride to hell and heaven, yeah I'm going to grind the ** out of the weapons, unlocking all the assets and stuff, but still it is meaningless and I will drop it sooner or later. So why not invest in to Dust? This is the key equation inst it? This game have something like a 10 years roadmap (stop laughing you!). I'm here since the fanfast closed beta and let me tell you, I have seen the community a lot more motivated about this game, but this was a long time ago. I'm not even sure if this game is going to life at last one year. What if Hilmar decide that this game have a bed reputation on CCP? That it is a financials catastrophe? I mean, we are not doing well here. I'm missing the motivation to log in. The last two times I logged in I could not even play. The first time I got a fatal error and yesterday me PS3 freezes in a match. I'm missing doing so PVE with friends a corp mates and I'm a little bored ob farming SP. I know that in BF4 I would farm as well, but there is a very big difference in farming and farming you know? This little wall of text is incoherent I know, I just tried to show you how I feel about it, that is always a little hard ;). So, some one feel the same as me, dropping this game for a long time and see if it is still alive?

Pretty much this. There is nothing to this game except for a lobby shooter with a clan system. The trailers made the game out to be so much more than it is (toppling galactic empires with planetary fights that all of New Eden would be in awe of). Every monthly patch cycle has been nothing but bug fixes (which, in turn, introduce new bugs), and has turned this fanboi into just another bittervet.

It would be better if you sent it to me now so that it wouldn't become useless.

It is about not investing in to this game and about taking a big break.
