Sorry you don't feel game infrastructure is a 'finished product' to show but alit of us do. And we also understand the technical limits of work groups. I can't just pull lazer operators from their machines and make them weld parts, as much as I want to, that's not how real life works.

At other Developers if a game being developed is falling behind in a specific area what do they do??
They focus assets on that area.
Activision, Konami, Bungie, ND, etc. thats how they do it.
But here they did the inverse of pulling assets away to work on a third game.

I think Faction Warfare has gotten a rework and a lot of love from True Grit - i'm really hoping we're going to see something that resembles new gameplay come out of that.
I'd expect, if CCP is staying focused on their stated roadmanp for 'Improving the core' that we'll see a few more optimizations and engine improvements, as well as some probably-stealth adjustments to core mechanics. I think back when the AA threads were raging a bluetag said kb/m would be getting some love. |
