Minny scrubs not use to people who fight for amarr going positive. That's why they hate.

I knew as soon as I read that it was about the SCR. That gun will garner you more hate than anything.

However, I have found that most hate mail and sh*t talk in FPS has nothing to do with you as a player. It's more of the fact that the other guy is taking frustration they have out on you. And usually that frustration is game mechanics related. They are shooting at you, and their ***** are going right through you, like you're a ghost. You charge up and do away with them, they get angry.

The semi-auto SCR isn't really used much, because it takes a form of minor skill to use effectively, so it still shocks players when you kill them with such quickness.

This is what I assumes goes through the mind of an opposing player.

"This guy is standing right in the open letting me shoot him with my AR... what an easy kill... WHAT THE F*CK, where did my shields and half my armor go... 3 SHOTS AND I'M DEAD! F*CK YOU, THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY EASY AR KILL!!"

I absolutely love the single shot SCR. I use the base version because it isnt that much of a damage reduction and its so cheap. I switched to it from the TAC AR because of the ham-fisted way that CCP nerfed the ROF of the TAC. The SCR actually takes skill to hit somebody and you should be rewarded as such.

BTW - a SCR with REs will garner you much hate

I am used to score well over 15 kills per match (26 was the record today) using only the adv SR and I am yet to receive any hate mail. I guess you are just being unlucky.
