I have heard a few people complain about this, but only just saw / experienced it. "twitchy- mc" just fired a forge 2-3 times in a second... no lag... I saw the balls (all 3) all fire then travel, then hit... as close as scrambler rifle fire. |

That's harsh. How is that possible as the forge has to fully charge before it'll fire? |

Both my characters use FG. I have never seen the situation and KR uses Officer Forge Guns on occasion.
2.1 second charge time with bonus reduction puts it at ~1.5 seconds but I have to release the trigger. Does anyone have video by any chance? |

However, that MD looks like it is operating within specs, at least within my limited experience (I was horrible with it). It will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger, or at least as quickly as I could. The reload sucks big time.
The problem in question is 3 bursts from a FG in under a second. The minimum charge time is ~1.5 seconds. Three rounds at once is not possible. Now, admittedly in the heat of battle many things can get confusing. But seeing three FG rounds coming at you at once is hard to confuse with one, 1.5 second pause then the second, another 1.5 second pause and the final round. True that is only 3 seconds total, the first charge cannot be counted as the round coming is the visual clue unless one witnesses the charged FG. Which is not very likely on an Assault FG.
I hate to say this but the standard solution for problems like this is to video it. Which in the case of the MD is equip one and test it while doing video capture. The FG is significantly more of a problem as it requires a Heavy Suit, Heavy Weapons and FG skills. Much more of an expensive solution. Maybe one could use the Sentinel class to work it out, if they still have that one.
Either way, Good Luck. |

Don't bother with sentinel. It's meant for HMG work. But yes, testing a forge glitch is a SP intensive action if you don't have the SP to spare. The more likely scenario was that you were being shat at by two forges with the second one somewhere immediately behind on the line of sight to the one you could see. |

Being shot by one Forge Gunner is bad enough. But having multiple Gunners engaged would certainly qualify for being 'shat at'.
